The outdoor unit can be powered either by 6x AA batteries (not included) or by connecting it to an existing 8-24V wired power supply (adapter not included).

  1. Choose Location: Select a suitable location near your entrance, protected from direct heavy rain and sunlight if possible. The unit has an IP44 rating, offering protection against splashing water.
  2. Mounting: Use the provided mounting plate as a template to mark drilling points on the wall. Drill holes, insert wall plugs, and secure the mounting plate with screws.
  3. Power Connection:
    • Battery Power: Insert 6x AA batteries into the designated compartment. Ensure correct polarity.
    • Wired Power: Connect the 8-24V power supply wires to the appropriate terminals on the outdoor unit. Consult an electrician if unsure.

  2. Power On: Plug the adapter into a wall socket and connect it to the indoor unit. The unit will power on automatically.
  3. Pairing (if necessary): The units are typically pre-paired. If pairing is required, refer to the specific pairing instructions provided in the quick start guide or on the manufacturer's website.
