Setup & Installation
The intelamp Solar Outdoor Light offers flexible installation options. Ensure the solar panel receives direct sunlight for optimal charging.
Choosing an Installation Location:
- Select a location where the solar panel can receive at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
- Consider areas that require security lighting, such as driveways, patios, gardens, or entryways.
- The dual motion sensors provide a wide detection range of over 180°, ensuring comprehensive coverage.

The solar light offers a maximum 25ft detecting distance for motion.
Mounting Options:
The light can be screwed to hard surfaces or bound to trees/posts using tie straps.
- Screw Fixation:
- Rotate the solar panels from side to side and the central lamp vertically up and down to provide space for the installation of screws.
- Mark the desired mounting points on the wall or wooden surface using the light's mounting holes as a guide.
- Drill pilot holes if necessary.
- Secure the light using the provided screws.
- Cable Tie Installation:
- Insert the provided cable ties through the mounting holes on the back of the light.
- Tie the light securely to a tree, pole, or fence.

Adjusting Lamp Heads and Solar Panel:
The 3 lamp heads and the solar panel are adjustable to optimize lighting and charging.
- The solar panel can be adjusted up and down by 60 degrees. The optimum tilt angle is usually 20 degrees for maximum sun exposure.
- The intelamp solar flood light head can be adjusted horizontally and up and down by 45 degrees.
- The side lamp heads can be adjusted horizontally from left and right, up to 90 degrees.

Adjust the solar panel and lamp heads for optimal coverage and charging.
Operating Modes
Your intelamp Solar Outdoor Light features 3 distinct lighting modes, easily selectable via the mode button on the back of the unit.
- Mode 1 (Dim-to-Bright Motion Sensor Mode):
- Lights set on low brightness setting at all times.
- Will illuminate brightly when motion sensor is activated.
- Returns to low brightness after 30 seconds of no movement.

Mode 1: Low brightness always on, turns to strong light when motion is detected, then dims after 30s.
- Mode 2 (Off-to-Bright Motion Sensor Mode):
- Lights will be off.
- Will illuminate brightly when motion sensor is activated.
- Turns off again after 30 seconds of no movement.

Mode 2: Always off, turns on strong light when motion is detected, then turns off after 30s.
- Mode 3 (Long Light Mode - Motion Sensor Disabled):
- Lights will be on low light throughout the night.
- Motion sensor is inactivated in this mode.
- Stays on until daybreak or battery is exhausted.

Mode 3: Continuous lighting in the dark or at night until daybreak or battery exhaustion.
Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your intelamp Solar Outdoor Light, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Clean the Solar Panel: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris that may accumulate and hinder charging efficiency.
- Check for Obstructions: Ensure no trees, bushes, or other objects are blocking direct sunlight from reaching the solar panel.
- Battery Life: The built-in high-capacity battery is designed for a long service life. If you notice a significant decrease in performance over time, ensure the unit is receiving adequate sunlight for charging.
- Weather Protection: While the light is waterproof, extreme weather conditions (e.g., heavy snow accumulation on the panel) may temporarily affect performance. Clear any snow or ice to restore full functionality.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your intelamp Solar Outdoor Light, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Light does not turn on at night. | Insufficient sunlight for charging. | Ensure solar panel is in direct sunlight for 6-8 hours daily. Clean the solar panel. |
| Light is dim or flickers. | Low battery charge or dirty solar panel. | Allow more charging time. Clean the solar panel. Check for obstructions. |
| Motion sensor not detecting. | Incorrect mode setting or sensor obstruction. | Ensure light is in Mode 1 or Mode 2. Clear any obstructions from the sensor's path. Adjust sensor angle if possible. |
| Light turns off too quickly. | No continuous motion detected (in motion modes). | This is normal behavior for Mode 1 and Mode 2. If continuous light is desired, switch to Mode 3. |
