3. Setup

3.1 Initial Assembly

  1. Unpack all components from the packaging.
  2. Ensure all hoses and the upholstery tool are present.
  3. Attach the vacuum hose to the vacuum port on the unit.
  4. Connect the solution hose to the quick-connect fitting on the unit and to the upholstery tool.

3.2 Filling the Solution Tank

  1. Open the solution tank cap (refer to Figure 3).
  2. Fill the tank with clean water and the recommended carpet cleaning solution according to the solution manufacturer's instructions. Do not overfill.
  3. Securely close the solution tank cap.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On

  1. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
  2. Turn on the "Vacuum" switch.
  3. Turn on the "Pump" switch.
  4. If heated cleaning is desired, turn on the "Heater" switch. Allow a few minutes for the water to heat up.

4.2 Cleaning Process

  1. Pre-test the cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area of the material to be cleaned for colorfastness.
  2. Position the upholstery tool over the area to be cleaned.
  3. Press the trigger on the upholstery tool to spray the cleaning solution onto the surface.
  4. While spraying, pull the tool slowly across the surface to extract the dirty solution. Overlap passes slightly.
  5. For heavily soiled areas, repeat the process. For best results, perform a final pass without spraying solution to maximize extraction of moisture.
  6. Monitor the recovery tank for dirty water.

4.3 Emptying the Recovery Tank

  1. Turn off all switches and unplug the unit.
  2. Locate the recovery tank drain.
  3. Carefully drain the dirty water into a suitable receptacle.
  4. Rinse the recovery tank with clean water if necessary.
