TUXING TXEDM041-1
TUXING PCP Compressor TXEDM041-1 Instruction Manual
Model: TXEDM041-1
1. Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of your TUXING TXEDM041-1 Double-Cylinder Mini Portable Air Compressor. Please read this manual thoroughly before initial use and retain it for future reference.
The TUXING TXEDM041-1 is a high-pressure air compressor designed for various applications including filling PCP air rifles, paintball tanks, and small scuba tanks. It features a double-cylinder design, water and fan cooling systems, and a maximum working pressure of 4500 PSI (300 Bar/30 MPa).
Important Safety Notes:
- Always check for damage to the outer packaging and the machine upon receipt.
- The compressor temperature should not exceed 85℃. Do not operate for more than 45 minutes continuously.
- Before operation, replace the oil cap with the breathing rod and ensure the oil level is at the red dot.
- Ensure the blue filter and hose are correctly assembled and free of leaks when connecting.
- Silicone oil is not included due to transportation restrictions; users must prepare it separately.
- Do not exceed a filling pressure of 300 Bar / 4500 PSI / 30 MPa.
2. Setup and Assembly
Proper setup is crucial for the safe and effective operation of your TUXING PCP Compressor. Follow these steps carefully:
2.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts listed in the accessory package are present and undamaged. Refer to the "Accessory package" image for a visual guide.

2.2 Oil Preparation
- Locate the oil cap on the compressor.
- Remove the oil cap and replace it with the provided breathing rod. This allows for proper ventilation during operation.
- Add appropriate compressor oil (silicone oil, not included) until the level reaches the red dot on the oil sight glass. Do not overfill.

2.3 Water Cooling System Connection
The compressor requires an external water cooling system. Prepare a bucket or container with cooling water.
- Connect the water pump to the water inlet hose.
- Connect the water outlet hose from the compressor to return water to the container.
- Place the water pump into the container filled with water. Ensure the pump is fully submerged.
- Connect the water pump's power cord to a suitable power source.
Caution: Do not operate the compressor without the water cooling system properly set up and running. Overheating can cause severe damage.

2.4 Air Filter Connection
Connect the blue oil-water filter to the compressor's air outlet. This filter helps ensure good air quality by separating oil and water from the compressed air.

2.5 Power Connection
Connect the main power cord to the compressor and then to a suitable 110V power outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting.
3. Operating Instructions
Once the compressor is properly set up, follow these steps for operation:
- Connect the Device: Attach the high-pressure hose from the compressor's filter to the device you intend to fill (e.g., PCP air rifle, paintball tank).
- Open Bleed Valve: Ensure the bleed valve on the compressor or the filling hose is closed before starting.
- Start Water Pump: Turn on the external water pump to initiate water circulation for cooling.
- Power On Compressor: Flip the main power switch on the compressor to the ON position. The compressor will begin to build pressure.
- Monitor Pressure: Continuously monitor the pressure gauge. The compressor features a manual shut-off. When the desired pressure is reached (do not exceed 4500 PSI / 300 Bar), manually turn off the compressor.
- Release Pressure: After turning off the compressor, slowly open the bleed valve to release residual pressure in the hose before disconnecting the device.
- Disconnect Device: Once pressure is fully released, disconnect the filled device.
- Turn Off Water Pump: Turn off the water pump after use.

Filling Times:
- Approximately 3 minutes to fill a 0.5-liter tank from 0 to 300 Bar.
- Approximately 45 minutes to fill a 6.8-liter tank from 0 to 300 Bar.
4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your compressor.
4.1 Oil Change
- Change the compressor oil after the first few hours of use (e.g., after 3-5 fills) to remove break-in contaminants.
- Subsequently, check the oil level before each use and change the oil every 20-30 hours of operation or as recommended by the oil manufacturer.
- Use high-quality synthetic compressor oil for best results.
4.2 Water Cooling System
- Regularly inspect the water hoses for kinks or damage.
- Ensure the water pump is clean and free of debris to maintain efficient cooling.
- Use clean, distilled water for the cooling system to prevent mineral buildup.
4.3 Air Filter
- Inspect the oil-water separator filter regularly. Replace the filter elements as needed to maintain air quality.
5. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your TUXING PCP Compressor.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Compressor does not start. | No power, loose connection, power switch off. | Check power cord, ensure secure connections, turn on power switch. |
| Compressor overheats. | Insufficient water cooling, prolonged operation, high ambient temperature. | Ensure water pump is running and submerged, check water flow, allow compressor to cool down, operate in a well-ventilated area. |
| Slow pressure build-up or no pressure. | Air leaks, clogged filter, worn seals. | Check all connections for leaks, replace filter elements, inspect and replace O-rings/seals if necessary. |
| Excessive vibration. | Uneven surface, loose components. | Place on a stable, level surface. Check and tighten any loose bolts or components. |
