Setup

  1. Unpack the charger: Remove the charger from its packaging and inspect it for any damage. Do not use if damaged.
  2. Choose a location: Place the charger on a dry, stable surface, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. Ensure adequate ventilation.
  3. Connect to power: Plug the charger's power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. The charger is now ready for use.

Operating Instructions: Charging a Battery

Follow these steps to charge your STANLEY V20 Lithium Ion battery pack:

  1. Insert battery: Slide the STANLEY V20 Lithium Ion battery pack onto the charger until it clicks securely into place.
  2. Monitor indicator lights: The charger features indicator lights to communicate the charging status:
    • Solid Red Light: Battery is charging.
    • Solid Green Light: Battery is fully charged.
    • Flashing Red Light: Battery or charger fault. Disconnect the battery and charger, wait a few minutes, then try again. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
    • Flashing Green Light: Battery is too hot or too cold. The charger will wait until the battery reaches an appropriate temperature before beginning to charge.
  3. Remove battery: Once the green light is solid, the battery is fully charged. Press the release button on the battery pack and slide it off the charger.
  4. Disconnect charger: Unplug the charger from the power outlet when not in use.

Note: A new battery pack or one that has been stored for a long period may not reach full charge capacity until after several charge/discharge cycles.
