Setup
- Unpack the charger: Remove the charger from its packaging and inspect it for any damage. Do not use if damaged.
- Choose a location: Place the charger on a dry, stable surface, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. Ensure adequate ventilation.
- Connect to power: Plug the charger's power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. The charger is now ready for use.
Operating Instructions: Charging a Battery
Follow these steps to charge your STANLEY V20 Lithium Ion battery pack:
- Insert battery: Slide the STANLEY V20 Lithium Ion battery pack onto the charger until it clicks securely into place.
- Monitor indicator lights: The charger features indicator lights to communicate the charging status:
- Solid Red Light: Battery is charging.
- Solid Green Light: Battery is fully charged.
- Flashing Red Light: Battery or charger fault. Disconnect the battery and charger, wait a few minutes, then try again. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
- Flashing Green Light: Battery is too hot or too cold. The charger will wait until the battery reaches an appropriate temperature before beginning to charge.
- Remove battery: Once the green light is solid, the battery is fully charged. Press the release button on the battery pack and slide it off the charger.
- Disconnect charger: Unplug the charger from the power outlet when not in use.
Note: A new battery pack or one that has been stored for a long period may not reach full charge capacity until after several charge/discharge cycles.
Maintenance
