4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking and Assembly
- Carefully remove the generator and all components from the packaging.
- Assemble the wheels and transport handle as per the included assembly guide. Ensure all bolts are securely tightened.
4.2 Adding Engine Oil
The generator is shipped without engine oil. You must add the correct type and amount of oil before first use.
- Place the generator on a level surface.
- Locate the oil fill cap/dipstick.
- Slowly add 4-stroke engine oil (refer to the oil fill cap or engine specifications for the exact type and quantity, typically 5W-40). Do not overfill.
- Replace the oil fill cap/dipstick and ensure it is secure.
4.3 Connecting Propane Tank
The generator uses a standard 20 LB propane tank (not included).
- Place the propane tank securely in the onboard storage area.
- Connect the included 5-foot propane hose to the propane tank and the generator's propane inlet. Ensure connections are tight.
- Perform a leak check: Apply a soapy water solution to all connections. If bubbles appear, tighten the connection. If bubbles persist, do not operate the generator and contact customer support.
