6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Vogel's TVM 3445 wall mount, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Regular Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Over time, vibrations or adjustments can cause them to loosen.
  • Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Movement Check: Occasionally move the TV through its full range of motion to ensure smooth operation. If any stiffness is noted, check for obstructions or loose parts.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your TVM 3445 wall mount, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

  • TV is not level: Use the integrated spirit level and adjust the leveling screws on the TV interface strips until the TV is perfectly horizontal.
  • Difficulty moving the TV: Check for any obstructions behind the TV or along the mount's arms. Ensure all pivot points are free from debris. If the movement feels too loose or too stiff, refer to the installation video for adjustment points.
  • Mount feels unstable: Immediately remove the TV from the mount. Re-check all wall and TV attachment screws to ensure they are securely tightened. Verify that the wall type and fasteners used are appropriate for the weight of your TV and the mount.
  • Cables are snagging: Ensure all cables are properly routed through the cable clips and have sufficient slack for the TV's full range of motion.
