1. Product Overview

The iZEEKER Dash Cam GD100 is a high-definition 1080P car driving recorder designed to capture clear footage of your journeys. It features a 3-inch LCD display, 170° wide-angle lens, G-Sensor for emergency recording, loop recording, and parking mode for comprehensive vehicle surveillance.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Inserting the Memory Card

Before first use, insert a high-speed Class 10 or higher Micro SD card (up to 64GB recommended) into the dash cam's memory card slot. Ensure the card is inserted correctly until it clicks into place. It is recommended to format the card within the dash cam's settings before initial use.

3.2 Mounting the Dash Cam

  1. Clean the area on your windshield where you intend to mount the dash cam. Ensure it is free from dust and grease for optimal suction.
  2. Attach the suction cup mount to the dash cam.
  3. Press the suction cup firmly against the windshield and flip the lever to secure it. Position the dash cam so that it does not obstruct your view of the road.
  4. Adjust the lens angle to ensure it captures the road ahead clearly. The 170° wide-angle lens provides extensive coverage.

3.3 Power Connection

Connect the car charger to the dash cam's power input port and plug the other end into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket). The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle starts.

4.3 Wide Dynamic Range (WDR)

The WDR function helps the dash cam perform optimally in various lighting conditions, such as high contrast or low light. It balances exposure to ensure clear video recording, preventing overexposure in bright areas and underexposure in dark areas, especially useful for night vision.

Use the physical buttons on the side or bottom of the dash cam to navigate through the menu options displayed on the 3-inch LCD screen. Common settings include video resolution, loop recording duration, G-Sensor sensitivity, parking mode, date/time stamp, and memory card formatting.

You can view recorded videos directly on the dash cam's LCD screen by entering playback mode. Alternatively, remove the Micro SD card and insert it into a computer using a card reader to access and transfer files.
