6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your wet/dry vacuum.
6.1 Filter Care
- Cartridge Filter (Dry Use): Regularly check for clogs. Tap gently to remove loose dust. For heavy buildup, rinse with water and allow to air dry completely before reinstallation. Do not use for wet pickup.
- Foam Wet Filter (Wet Use): After wet pickup, remove the foam filter, rinse thoroughly with water, and allow to air dry completely before storing or next use.
- Dust Bag (Dry Use): Replace the dust bag when it is full or when suction significantly decreases.
6.2 Tank Cleaning
- After each use, especially wet pickup, empty the collection tank.
- Rinse the inside of the tank with water to remove any residue.
- Wipe the tank dry or allow it to air dry before storing to prevent odors and mildew.
