Setup Instructions
- Preparing the Case: Ensure the waterproof case is clean and free of debris. Check the rubber seal around the door for any damage or foreign particles.
- Inserting the GoPro Camera: Open the waterproof case by releasing the latch. Carefully insert your GoPro Hero 13/12/11/10/9 Black camera into the case. Ensure it fits snugly and the buttons align with the case's external controls.
- Securing the Case: Close the case door firmly and engage the latch until it clicks securely into place. Perform a dry test (without the camera) in water to confirm no leaks before first use with the camera.
- Attaching Cold Shoe Adapters: The case features two built-in cold shoe slots. To attach accessories like external lights or microphones, slide the provided three-fingers or two-fingers cold shoe adapters into these slots. These adapters can also be used to mount the case onto a DSLR camera's cold shoe or a tripod with a 1/4" screw.
- Attaching Filters: The included filters (Red, Magenta, Light Red, Macro) can be easily snapped onto the front of the waterproof case. Ensure the filter is securely seated to prevent it from detaching underwater.

Operating Instructions
Underwater Use
The GEPULY Waterproof Case provides protection for your GoPro camera up to a depth of 196 feet (60 meters). Ensure the case is properly sealed before submerging.
Using Color Correction Filters
Underwater environments can cause color distortion. The included filters help restore natural colors in your footage:
- Red Filter: Ideal for blue water at depths of 12 to 85 feet.
- Magenta Filter: Suitable for green water, such as freshwater lakes and reservoirs, effective from 8 to 75 feet.
- Light Red (Snorkel) Filter: Best for shallow blue water or clear freshwater, typically at depths of 2 to 15 feet.
- +5 Close-up Macro Filter: Used for magnifying small subjects and capturing detailed underwater wildlife, effective both above and below water.
Using Cold Shoe Slots
The two cold shoe slots allow for the attachment of various accessories. This enables you to expand your camera setup with external lighting, microphones, or other compatible gear for enhanced recording capabilities.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, especially in saltwater, rinse the waterproof case thoroughly with fresh water. Gently wipe the lens and case body with a soft, clean cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Seal Inspection: Regularly inspect the rubber O-ring seal for any signs of wear, cracks, or embedded debris. A clean and intact seal is crucial for maintaining waterproof integrity.
- Rust Prevention: All metal parts, including buttons and thumbscrews, are made of 316 stainless steel to resist rust in seawater. However, rinsing with fresh water after saltwater exposure is still recommended to prolong product life.
- Anti-fog Inserts: Place the included anti-fog inserts inside the case before use to prevent fogging, especially in humid or cold conditions. Replace inserts as needed.
Troubleshooting
- Water Leakage: If water enters the case, immediately remove the camera. Check the rubber seal for proper seating, cleanliness, and any damage. Ensure the latch is fully closed and secured. Always perform a dry test before placing the camera inside.
- Fogging Inside Case: Ensure anti-fog inserts are correctly placed inside the case. If fogging persists, replace the inserts or ensure the camera and case are dry before sealing.
- Filter Identification: If filters are difficult to distinguish, consider marking them with a permanent, waterproof marker for quick identification during use.
