3. Operating the Router
3.1 Dual-Band Wi-Fi
The AX3200 router operates on two frequency bands: 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The 2.4GHz band offers wider coverage and better penetration through walls, suitable for general browsing and smart home devices. The 5GHz band provides faster speeds and is ideal for bandwidth-intensive activities like 4K streaming and online gaming.

Figure 4: Illustration of dual-band speeds: 2400Mbps on 5GHz and 800Mbps on 2.4GHz.
3.2 Multi-User Technology (OFDMA & MU-MIMO)
With OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies, the router efficiently handles multiple devices simultaneously. OFDMA allows multiple devices to share a single channel, while MU-MIMO enables the router to communicate with several devices at once, significantly improving network efficiency and reducing latency, even with up to 128 connected devices.

3.3 Reyee Mesh System
The Reyee Mesh feature allows you to easily expand your Wi-Fi coverage by adding compatible Reyee mesh units. A single click of the Reyee Mesh button on the router initiates the pairing process, creating a seamless whole-home Wi-Fi 6 network.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Optimal Placement
For best performance, place the router in a central, elevated location in your home. Avoid placing it near large metal objects, concrete walls, or appliances that emit electromagnetic interference (e.g., microwaves, cordless phones).
4.2 Firmware Updates
Regularly check for and install firmware updates through the Reyee Router app or web interface. Firmware updates often include security patches, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
4.3 Regular Reboot
Periodically rebooting your router (unplugging it from power for 10-15 seconds and then plugging it back in) can help clear its memory and resolve minor performance issues.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 No Internet Connection
- Check Cables: Ensure all Ethernet cables are securely connected to the correct ports (WAN to modem, LAN to devices).
- Reboot Devices: Power cycle your modem first, then the router. Wait a few minutes for both devices to fully restart and establish a connection.
- Modem Functionality: Verify that your modem is working correctly by connecting a computer directly to it (bypassing the router).
5.2 Frequent Disconnections or Slow Speeds
- Router Placement: Relocate the router to a more central and open area, away from potential interference sources.
- Interference: Avoid placing the router near other electronic devices, cordless phones, or microwave ovens.
- Channel Optimization: Use the Reyee app or web interface to analyze Wi-Fi channels and select less congested ones for your 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.
- Firmware Update: Ensure your router's firmware is up to date.
- Reset Router: As a last resort, perform a factory reset (refer to the Quick Installation Guide for instructions). This will erase all custom settings, so you will need to reconfigure the router.
5.3 Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi 6 Products Wirelessly
- Update Device Drivers: Some older versions of drivers or software for wireless devices may be incompatible with Wi-Fi 6 products. Please update the driver or software for your wireless device.
- Check Compatibility: Ensure your device explicitly supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax).
