1. Product Overview

The AYAFATO Dehumidifier (Model C01) is a compact and portable device designed to efficiently remove excess moisture from small to medium-sized enclosed spaces. It features ultra-quiet operation, an auto shut-off function for safety, and a multi-color LED night light, making it ideal for bedrooms, closets, bathrooms, and other similar areas.

2. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the dehumidifier and retain this manual for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

• Do not immerse the dehumidifier, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
• Ensure the power supply matches the voltage specified on the rating label.
• Always unplug the unit before cleaning, moving, or when not in use.
• Do not block the air inlet or outlet. Maintain at least 10 cm (4 inches) clearance around the unit.
• Use the dehumidifier on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping and water spillage.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not operate the unit if the power cord or plug is damaged. Contact customer support for assistance.

4. Product Features

• 4.1. Efficient Dehumidification

  The dehumidifier is designed for small, enclosed spaces (50~285 sq. ft) and can collect up to 17oz (480ml) of water per 24 hours under optimal conditions (86°F and 80% RH). It operates with low energy consumption, typically less than 1 kWh per day, effectively reducing humidity and eliminating musty odors.

• 4.2. Ultra-Quiet Operation with Two Work Modes

  This dehumidifier operates quietly, with a noise level below 26dB, making it suitable for bedrooms. It features two work modes: a powerful day mode for efficient moisture removal and a whisper-quiet night mode that produces a low white noise, conducive to sleep.

• 4.3. Auto Shut-off with 35oz Water Tank

  Equipped with a 35oz (1000ml) water tank, the unit automatically shuts off when the tank reaches approximately 27oz (800ml) capacity. A red light will flash, and an internal buoy will float to indicate that the tank needs emptying, preventing overflow and ensuring safe operation.

• 4.4. Colorful LED Night Lights

  The dehumidifier features 7-color LED night lights that cycle automatically through blue, purple, red, orange, yellow, green, and cyan. This function can be used to provide soft ambient lighting, especially useful in dark spaces or as a night light. You can also press the light button to pause on your preferred color.

5. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the dehumidifier and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Placement: Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of clear space around all sides of the unit for proper airflow. Do not place it directly against a wall or furniture.
3. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the DC input port on the back of the dehumidifier. Then, plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet (100-240V~1.5A).
4. Initial Check: Ensure the water tank is properly seated and empty before first use.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Control Panel

The control panel is located on the top of the unit and consists of two buttons:

• Power Button (●): Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
• Light Button (☀): Press to cycle through LED light modes or to fix a color.

6.2. Turning On/Off

• To turn the dehumidifier ON, press the Power Button once. The unit will start operating in Day Mode.
• To turn the dehumidifier OFF, press the Power Button again.

6.3. Changing Work Modes (Day/Night)

The dehumidifier has two operating modes: Day Mode and Night Mode.

• When the unit is ON, it defaults to Day Mode, providing powerful dehumidification.
• To switch to Night Mode (quieter operation), press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds. The indicator light will change to confirm the mode.
• To switch back to Day Mode, press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds again.

6.4. Using the LED Night Light

• To turn on the LED night light, press the Light Button once. The lights will begin cycling through 7 colors automatically.
• To pause on a specific color, press the Light Button again when your desired color is displayed.
• To turn off the LED night light, press the Light Button repeatedly until the lights turn off.

6.5. Auto Shut-off Function

When the water tank is full (approximately 27oz / 800ml), the dehumidifier will automatically shut off, and a red indicator light will flash to alert you. This prevents water overflow. Empty the water tank as described in the Maintenance section to resume operation.

7. Maintenance

7.1. Emptying the Water Tank

1. When the water tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off, and the red indicator light will flash.
2. Carefully pull out the water tank from the bottom of the dehumidifier.
3. Remove the rubber stopper from the drainage hole at the bottom of the tank.
4. Pour out the collected water into a sink or drain.
5. Replace the rubber stopper firmly.
6. Slide the empty water tank back into the dehumidifier until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation automatically if it was on before the tank filled.

7.2. Cleaning the Dehumidifier

• Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the surface.
• Air Inlet/Outlet: Periodically check the air inlet and outlet for dust accumulation. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove any dust or debris. Ensure these areas are clear for optimal performance.
• Water Tank Cleaning: Clean the water tank regularly (e.g., every 2-4 weeks) to prevent mold or mildew growth. Rinse the tank with clean water. For stubborn residue, a mild detergent solution can be used, followed by thorough rinsing. Ensure the tank is completely dry before reinserting.
• Storage: If storing the dehumidifier for an extended period, empty and clean the water tank, clean the exterior, and ensure the unit is completely dry. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
