3.4 Drainage Setup

1. Locate the drain hose connection port on the unit.
2. Connect the provided 10ft drainage hose securely to the port.
3. Direct the other end of the hose to a suitable drain location, ensuring it is lower than the unit's pump outlet for gravity drainage, or within 15ft vertical height for pump drainage.
4. Ensure the hose is not kinked or obstructed.

3.5 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V/60Hz electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet meets the electrical requirements of the unit.

4. Operation

4.1 Control Panel Overview

4.2 Setting Desired Humidity

1. Press the Power button to turn on the unit.
2. Use the Up or Down buttons to set your desired humidity level (e.g., 40% - 60% relative humidity is generally recommended).
3. The unit will automatically operate to maintain the set humidity level.

4.3 Using the Timer Function

1. To set Auto-ON: With the unit OFF, press the Timer button. Use Up/Down to set the desired delay (in hours) for the unit to turn ON.
2. To set Auto-OFF: With the unit ON, press the Timer button. Use Up/Down to set the desired delay (in hours) for the unit to turn OFF.
3. The timer indicator will illuminate when the timer is active.

4.4 Auto Defrost

The unit is equipped with an automatic defrost function. If frost builds up on the evaporator coils, the unit will temporarily stop dehumidifying and enter defrost mode. The Defrost indicator will light up. Dehumidification will resume automatically once defrosting is complete.

4.5 Auto Restart

In the event of a power outage, the unit will automatically restart with the previous settings once power is restored.

5.1 Cleaning the Air Filter

The washable air filter should be cleaned regularly, typically every 2-4 weeks depending on usage and air quality.

1. Unplug the dehumidifier from the power outlet.
2. Locate the air filter access panel (usually on the back or side of the unit).
3. Remove the filter.
4. Rinse the filter under running water to remove dust and debris. For heavy dirt, use a mild detergent and soft brush.
5. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling it.
6. Reinsert the dry filter and close the access panel.
