Setup and Assembly

Battery Charging

Before first use, fully charge both batteries. Connect the charger to a power outlet and then to the battery. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes 30-60 minutes.

Chain and Guide Plate Installation

1. Ensure the battery is removed from the chainsaw before installation.
2. Place the chain around the guide plate, ensuring the cutting teeth are facing the correct direction (away from the motor).
3. Align the guide plate with the chainsaw body and secure it using the easy install & uninstall knob.
4. Use the provided screwdriver to adjust the chain tension. The chain should be snug but still able to be pulled slightly away from the guide bar. Do not overtighten.
5. Once the chain is properly tensioned, tighten the knob securely.

Operating Instructions

General Operation

To operate the chainsaw, first ensure a charged battery is securely inserted. Press and hold the safety switch (usually a button or lever) with your thumb, then press the variable speed trigger to start the chain. Release the safety switch once the chain is running. The chainsaw is designed for comfortable one-handed use, but always maintain a firm grip.

Cutting Techniques

For optimal cutting performance and safety, follow these guidelines:

• Always ensure the chain is sharp and properly tensioned.
• Start the chainsaw before making contact with the wood.
• Apply steady, consistent pressure. Do not force the saw through the wood.
• For larger branches, make a small undercut first to prevent pinching or splintering.
• Be aware of kickback, especially when cutting with the tip of the guide bar.
• The chainsaw is ideal for branches up to 6 inches in diameter.

Maintenance

Chain Lubrication

Regular chain lubrication is crucial for optimal performance and chain longevity. Use standard chainsaw bar and chain oil (not included) to fill the provided empty oil bottle. Apply oil directly to the chain and guide bar before and during extended use. The frequency of lubrication depends on the duration and intensity of cutting.

Cleaning and Storage

• Always remove the battery before cleaning.
• Clean the chainsaw body and guide bar with a damp cloth after each use. Remove any sawdust, debris, or resin buildup.
• Inspect the chain for sharpness and damage. Replace dull or damaged chains promptly.
• Store the chainsaw and batteries in the provided quality storage & carry box in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
• For long-term storage, it is recommended to use and recharge the batteries every 3 months to maintain their lifespan.
