2. Important Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons.

3.3 Initial Rinse Cycle

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Preparing a Beverage
- Power On: Ensure the machine is plugged in and powered on.
- Insert Capsule: Lift the lever to open the capsule compartment. Insert one Lavazza Expert or BLUE capsule. Close the lever firmly.
- Place Cup: Place your desired cup under the coffee dispenser.
- Select Beverage: Use the touchscreen display to select your desired beverage:
- Espresso
- Lungo
- Coffee 8 Oz.
- Macchiato
- Cappuccino
- Latte
- Start Brewing: Press the corresponding button on the display. The machine will begin brewing.
- Enjoy: Your beverage is ready.

4.2 Using the Milk Frother
The integrated milk frother allows for preparation of Macchiato, Cappuccino, and Latte.
- Connect Milk Tube: Ensure the milk tube is properly connected to the machine and inserted into a container of fresh, cold milk.
- Place Cup: Place your cup under the coffee dispenser.
- Select Milk-based Beverage: Choose Macchiato, Cappuccino, or Latte from the display.
- Start: The machine will automatically froth the milk and then brew the coffee into your cup.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
5.1 Daily Cleaning
- Used Capsule Container: Empty and rinse the used capsule container daily. The machine can hold up to 15 used capsules.
- Drip Tray: Empty and clean the drip tray daily.
- Coffee Dispenser: Wipe the coffee dispenser with a damp cloth.
- Milk Frother System: After each milk-based beverage, perform a quick rinse cycle for the milk frother. Refer to the "System Clean" option on the display for milk system cleaning. Disassemble and wash milk frother components regularly with warm soapy water.
5.2 Descaling
The machine will indicate when descaling is required. Use a descaling solution specifically designed for coffee machines and follow the instructions provided with the descaling product.
- Empty the water system (if applicable) and used capsule container.
- Fill the water tank with descaling solution as per the product instructions.
- Place a large container under the coffee dispenser.
- Initiate the descaling cycle via the machine's menu or "System Clean" option.
- After the descaling cycle, rinse the water tank thoroughly and perform several rinse cycles with fresh water to remove any descaling solution residue.
