1.1 General Safety

3. Setup
Before first use, ensure all components are present and properly assembled.
3.1 Unpacking and Assembly
- Carefully remove all contents from the packaging.
- Attach the spray wand to the hose connection point on the sprayer. Ensure it is securely tightened.
- Adjust the padded shoulder straps for a comfortable fit.

3.2 Battery Installation and Charging
The sprayer operates on a Hart 20V battery (sold separately or included in some kits).
- Ensure the battery is fully charged before use. Refer to your battery charger's manual for charging instructions.
- Locate the battery compartment on the sprayer.
- Slide the charged 20V battery into the compartment until it clicks into place.
- To remove, press the battery release tab and slide the battery out.

3.3 Filling the Tank
- Ensure the sprayer is on a stable, level surface.
- Unscrew and remove the tank lid.
- Carefully pour the desired liquid (water, herbicide, pesticide, etc.) into the tank. Do not overfill.
- Securely replace the tank lid, ensuring a tight seal to prevent leaks.
4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for effective and safe operation of your sprayer.
4.1 Starting the Sprayer
- Once the tank is filled and the battery is installed, put on the backpack sprayer.
- Locate the power switch and turn the sprayer ON.
- Adjust the PSI control dial to your desired pressure setting. Higher PSI provides a stronger, more focused spray.
4.2 Spraying
- Aim the spray wand at the target area.
- Press the trigger on the spray wand handle to begin spraying.
- Release the trigger to stop spraying.
- Move steadily to ensure even coverage.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sprayer.
5.1 Cleaning After Use
- Empty any remaining liquid from the tank.
- Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water.
- Fill the tank with clean water and spray it through the wand to flush out the hose and nozzle.
- Clean the exterior of the sprayer with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the battery compartment or electrical components in water.
5.2 Storage
- Store the sprayer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures.
- Remove the battery from the sprayer before storing for extended periods.
- Ensure the tank is completely empty and clean before storage.
