4. Product Overview

5. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Leelbox DVB-T2 Decoder.
- Connect the Antenna: Connect your DVB-T2 antenna cable to the RF IN port on the rear of the decoder.
- Connect to TV:
- For modern TVs, connect an HDMI cable from the HD OUT port on the decoder to an available HDMI input on your TV.
- For older TVs, connect a SCART cable from the SCART port on the decoder to the SCART input on your TV.
- Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the DC-5V port on the decoder, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
- Power On: Turn on your TV and select the correct HDMI or SCART input source. The decoder should power on automatically or can be turned on using the remote control.
- Initial Setup Wizard: Upon first use, an initial setup wizard will appear. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, country, and perform an automatic channel scan. This process typically takes a few minutes.

If your model includes an external infrared receiver, connect it to the designated port on the decoder. Attach the receiver to a visible corner of your TV and ensure the remote control is pointed towards it for optimal signal reception.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Basic Operation
- Channel Surfing: Use the CH+/CH- buttons on the remote to change channels. You can also enter channel numbers directly using the numeric keypad.
- Volume Control: Use the VOL+/VOL- buttons to adjust the volume.
- Menu Navigation: Press the MENU button to access the main menu. Use the arrow keys to navigate and OK to confirm.
- EPG (Electronic Program Guide): Press the EPG button to view the program guide, showing upcoming broadcasts.
- Teletext/Subtitles: The decoder supports Teletext and multi-language subtitles. Use the TTX/SUB-T buttons to access these features.
6.2 Media Playback from USB
The decoder supports playing various media files (photos, music, videos) from a USB storage device.

- Insert your USB drive into the USB port on the front of the decoder.
- Navigate to the 'Media' or 'USB' section in the main menu.
- Select the type of media you wish to play (Photo, Music, Movie).
- Browse your files and select the desired content to play.
6.3 PVR (Personal Video Recorder) Function
The PVR function allows you to record TV programs to a connected USB storage device (not included).

Note: The USB recording function is not recommended for continuous use or as a primary recording solution. Ensure the USB drive has sufficient free space and is formatted correctly (FAT32 or NTFS).
- Instant Recording: While watching a program, press the REC button on the remote to start recording immediately. Press STOP to end the recording.
- Scheduled Recording: Access the EPG, select a program, and choose the 'Record' option to set a timer for future recording.
- Timeshift: Press the PAUSE button during live TV to pause the broadcast. Press PLAY to resume. This feature requires a USB drive to be connected.
6.4 Auto Shut-off Function
The decoder features a 3-hour automatic shut-off timer. If there is no user activity for 3 hours, the device will automatically power off to save energy. This function can typically be adjusted or disabled in the system settings menu.
7. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your DVB-T2 decoder, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive chemicals.
- Ventilation: Ensure that the ventilation slots on the device are not blocked. Do not place the decoder on soft surfaces like carpets or blankets that could obstruct airflow.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, disconnect it from power and store it in a cool, dry place.
