5. Setup
5.1. Installing Batteries
- Locate the battery compartment, typically behind the keypad panel.
- Remove the battery box.
- Insert 4 AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Replace the battery box and close the compartment.

5.2. Mounting the Safe
The safe can be secured using the included steel security cable or by mounting it to a surface.
- Using the Security Cable: Loop the steel cable around an immovable object (e.g., a bed frame or desk leg). Insert the threaded end of the cable into the designated hole at the back of the safe and secure it with the provided safety screw from inside the safe.
- Surface Mounting: Use the expansion screws to secure the safe to a flat, stable surface.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Setting a PIN Code
- Open the safe using the emergency key.
- Locate the "PROGRAM" button inside the safe.
- Press and hold the "PROGRAM" button until the keypad flashes blue once and you hear one beep.
- Release the "PROGRAM" button.
- Enter your desired 3-8 digit new code on the keypad.
- Press the "PROGRAM" button again (single press).
- If successful, the keypad will flash blue twice and emit two beeps.

6.2. Setting Biometric Fingerprint
- Open the safe using the emergency key or current PIN code.
- Locate the "PROGRAM" button inside the safe.
- Press and hold the "PROGRAM" button until the keypad flashes blue once and you hear one beep.
- Release the "PROGRAM" button.
- Place your finger on the fingerprint scanner and lift it after a beep. Repeat this process 6 times, slightly adjusting your finger position each time for comprehensive registration.
- If successful, the keypad will flash blue twice and emit two beeps.

6.3. Opening the Safe
- Using PIN Code: Enter your 3-8 digit PIN code on the keypad. The safe will open automatically.
- Using Biometric Fingerprint: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint scanner. The safe will open automatically upon successful recognition.
- Using Emergency Key: Insert the emergency key into the keyhole, turn it, and lift the lid.

6.4. USB Emergency Power
If the batteries run out, you can temporarily power the safe using a USB power bank.
- Connect a USB power bank to the USB emergency port on the safe.
- Once powered, you can use your PIN code or registered fingerprint to open the safe.
6.5. Silent Mode
To activate or deactivate silent mode (muting operational beeps), press and hold the '1' button on the keypad for 5 seconds.
7. Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: Replace all 4 AAA batteries when the low battery indicator appears (usually 5 beeps during operation). Use fresh, high-quality alkaline batteries.
- Cleaning: Wipe the safe's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the fingerprint sensor clean and dry.
- Foam Maintenance: The interior foam rack can be removed for cleaning or to create more storage space.
8. Troubleshooting
- Safe does not open with PIN/Fingerprint:
- Check battery levels. Replace batteries if low.
- Ensure correct PIN code is entered.
- Ensure your registered finger is placed correctly on the sensor.
- If the motor attempts to turn but fails to open the lock, ensure the safe is on a level surface and there is no obstruction. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
- Keypad/Fingerprint sensor unresponsive:
- Check battery levels. Use the USB emergency port for temporary power if needed.
- If multiple incorrect attempts are made, the safe may enter a lockout period (e.g., 10 minutes after 5 incorrect entries). Wait for the lockout period to expire.
- Cannot set PIN code or Fingerprint:
