Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your doorbell system, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Battery Replacement: The transmitter (push button) uses 1 CR2032 battery. The average battery life is approximately 3 years. When the LED indicator on the transmitter no longer lights up or the signal range decreases, it's time to replace the battery. Carefully open the transmitter casing and replace the CR2032 battery, ensuring correct polarity.
- Cleaning: Wipe the doorbell components with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Weather Resistance: The push button is IP55 waterproof and designed to withstand various weather conditions, including wind, snow, sleet, and extreme temperatures (-4°F to 140°F). However, avoid submerging it in water.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your SECRUI Wireless Doorbell, consider the following:
- No Sound/Signal: Check if the receiver is properly plugged into a working outlet. Ensure the transmitter battery is not depleted and is installed correctly. Verify that the distance between the transmitter and receiver is within the specified 300 ft range (up to 1000 ft in open areas) and that there are no major obstructions.
- Interference: The doorbell uses high-frequency electronic technology with anti-interference features. However, strong electromagnetic fields or large metal objects nearby can sometimes affect performance. Try relocating the receiver or transmitter.
- Chime/Volume Not Changing: Ensure the receiver is powered on. Press the respective buttons firmly to cycle through options. If the issue persists, unplug the receiver for a few seconds and plug it back in to reset.
