5. Operating Instructions
Once assembled and connected, you are ready to operate your pressure washer.
- Turn on Water Supply: Fully open the water faucet to ensure a steady flow to the pressure washer.
- Purge Air: Before turning on the power, squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to allow water to flow through the system and purge any trapped air. Continue until a steady stream of water emerges.
- Power On: Turn the pressure washer's power switch to the 'ON' position. The 13-amp motor will activate, providing maximum cleaning power.
- Begin Cleaning: Direct the spray gun at the surface to be cleaned, maintaining a safe distance. Squeeze the trigger to start the high-pressure spray.
- Using Quick-Connect Nozzles: The pressure washer comes with three quick-connect nozzles (0°, 15°, and 40°) to tackle different cleaning projects. The 0° (red) nozzle provides a pinpoint stream for tough stains, the 15° (yellow) nozzle offers a narrow fan for intense cleaning, and the 40° (grey) nozzle provides a wide fan for gentle cleaning or rinsing.
- Using the Foam Cannon: For stubborn stains or vehicle washing, attach the 33.8 fl oz foam cannon. The foam cannon mixes detergent with the high-pressure water to create a thick foam for effective cleaning.
- Total Stop System (TSS): This unit features a Total Stop System (TSS) which automatically shuts off the pump and power when the trigger is not engaged. This saves energy, prolongs pump life, and ensures safety.
- Power Off: When finished, release the trigger, turn the power switch to 'OFF', and then turn off the water supply. Squeeze the trigger again to release any remaining pressure in the system before disconnecting hoses.
