3. Product Overview

4. Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the speaker's internal lithium battery. Connect the speaker to a standard AC power outlet using the provided power cable. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes 6-8 hours.

Powering On/Off

Locate the AC Power switch on the rear control panel. Flip the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the speaker. Flip it to 'OFF' to power off.

The speaker is equipped with a retractable handle and sturdy caster wheels for easy transport. Extend the handle by pulling it upwards and tilt the speaker to roll it to your desired location.

5. Operating Instructions

Bluetooth Mode

  1. Power on the speaker.
  2. Press the MODE button on the USB/SD/FM/BT module until "BLUE" appears on the display, indicating Bluetooth mode.
  3. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or compatible device.
  4. Search for "beFree Sound BFS-12" (or similar) in your device's Bluetooth list and select it to pair.
  5. Once paired, you can play audio from your device through the speaker.

USB/SD Card Playback

  1. Insert a USB drive or SD card (with MP3 files) into the corresponding slot on the USB/SD/FM/BT module.
  2. The speaker will automatically switch to USB/SD mode and begin playback. If not, press the MODE button to select.
  3. Use the playback controls (Play/Pause, Next, Previous) on the module or remote control.

AUX Input

  1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., CD player, laptop) to the AUX In RCA ports on the rear panel using an RCA cable.
  2. Press the MODE button until AUX mode is selected.
  3. Adjust the volume using the Line/MP3 Level knob and your external device's volume control.

Microphone Usage

  1. Connect a microphone to either the MIC 1 In (XLR) or MIC 2 In (Guitar) (1/4-inch) input.
  2. Adjust the microphone volume using the corresponding MIC 1 Level or MIC 2 Level knobs.
  3. Use the Echo knob to add an echo effect to the microphone audio.

Illuminating Lights

To activate or deactivate the illuminating lights, use the LED Power switch on the rear control panel.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker's exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: For optimal battery life, fully charge the speaker before storing it for extended periods. Recharge the battery every 3-6 months if not in regular use.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No power Battery is depleted; Power cable not connected; Power switch is off. Charge the battery; Connect power cable securely; Turn on the AC Power switch.
No sound Volume is too low; Incorrect input mode selected; Device not properly connected/paired. Increase Master volume and input level knobs; Select correct MODE; Reconnect/re-pair device.
