Setup
Follow these steps to connect your SOMIC GS510 Gaming Headset to your device.
- Connect the 3.5mm Audio Jack: Plug the 3.5mm audio jack from the headset into the corresponding audio port on your PC, laptop, PS4, PS5, Xbox One controller (a Microsoft adapter may be required for older Xbox One controllers, not included), Nintendo Switch, or mobile phone.

- Connect USB for LED Lights (Optional): If you wish to activate the LED light effect on the headset, connect the USB plug to a USB port on your device (PC, laptop, console with USB port). Note that the LED light effect is only available when the USB is connected. The light color is fixed (white).
- Using the Splitter Cable: For PCs with separate audio input (microphone) and output (headphone) jacks, use the included splitter cable. Connect the headset's 3.5mm jack to the splitter, then plug the two splitter ends into the appropriate microphone and headphone ports on your computer.
Operating Instructions
Volume Control
Adjust the volume using the scroll wheel located on the left earcup of the headset. Rotate the wheel upwards to increase volume and downwards to decrease volume.
Microphone Usage
The headset features a retractable microphone.
- Extend/Retract: Gently pull the microphone out from the left earcup to extend it for use, and push it back in to retract it when not needed.
- Mute/Unmute: Use the microphone mute switch located near the volume control on the left earcup. Flip the switch to mute or unmute your microphone.
- Positioning: For optimal voice clarity, position the microphone approximately 1-2 inches from your mouth.

Customizing Speaker Tags
The SOMIC GS510 comes with two pairs of magnetic speaker tags that can be easily interchanged.
- To change a speaker tag, gently pull the current tag off the earcup. It is held in place by magnets.
- Align the new speaker tag with the magnetic points on the earcup and allow it to snap into place.

Maintenance
Proper care will extend the life of your SOMIC GS510 Gaming Headset.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the headset. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For ear pads, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure they are completely dry before use.
- Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid placing heavy objects on the headset.
- Cable Care: Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cables. Do not pull on the cable to disconnect the headset; always grasp the plug.
- Microphone: When not in use, retract the microphone to protect it from damage.
