  1. Ensure the laminator is warmed up and the correct hot lamination setting (3 Mil or 5 Mil) is selected.
  2. Insert your document into a laminating pouch, ensuring it is centered and there is an even border around the document.
  3. With the sealed edge of the pouch first, carefully feed the pouch straight into the document input slot.
  4. The laminator will automatically pull the pouch through. Do not pull or push the pouch during the lamination process.
  5. Once the pouch exits the output slot, place it on a flat surface to cool and flatten.

Cold Lamination

  1. Ensure the "Cold" mode is selected.
  2. Use self-adhesive cold laminating pouches.
  3. Insert your document into the cold laminating pouch according to the pouch manufacturer's instructions.
  4. Feed the sealed edge of the pouch first into the document input slot.
  5. The laminator will process the pouch. Allow it to cool and set after exiting.

Clearing a Jam

If a pouch becomes jammed or misfed, immediately press the "Release" lever (usually located at the rear or side of the machine) and gently pull the pouch out. Release the lever once the pouch is clear.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Unplug the laminator and allow it to cool completely. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Roller Cleaning: Occasionally, run a folded piece of paper through the laminator to help clean the rollers. Specialized laminator cleaning sheets can also be used.
  • Storage: Store the laminator in a cool, dry place when not in use.
