Figure 3.1: Module Dimensions and Key Specifications
This image visually presents the physical dimensions of the controller module (36x23mm) and reiterates key electrical specifications such as working voltage, charging current, and protection thresholds.
Note: The module's working state involves the solar panel recharging the battery when light is on during the day (LED light panel off). When there is no sunlight in the evening, the LED light is automatically turned on, meaning the battery automatically recharges during the day and powers the light at night.
4. Setup and Installation
Careful attention to polarity is crucial during installation to prevent damage to the module or connected components. Refer to the connection diagram below for proper wiring.

Figure 4.1: Connection Diagram
This image illustrates the terminal connections on the QINIZX Solar Lamp Controller Module. S- and S+ are for the solar panel (negative and positive), L+ and L- are for the lamp board (positive and negative), and B- and B+ are for the 3.7V lithium battery (negative and positive).
Connection Points:
- S- (Solar Panel Negative): Connect to the negative terminal of your 6V solar panel.
- S+ (Solar Panel Positive): Connect to the positive terminal of your 6V solar panel.
- L+ (Lamp Board Positive): Connect to the positive terminal of your 3.0-3.2V LED lamp board.
- L- (Lamp Board Negative): Connect to the negative terminal of your 3.0-3.2V LED lamp board.
- B- (Battery Negative): Connect to the negative terminal of your 3.7V lithium battery.
- B+ (Battery Positive): Connect to the positive terminal of your 3.7V lithium battery.
Ensure all connections are secure and correctly polarized before applying power. Incorrect wiring can damage the module or connected devices.
Typical Application:

This image displays various solar lawn lamp configurations where the controller module can be integrated, such as solar spotlights and multi-head garden lights. The module facilitates automatic operation for these types of lighting systems.
5. Operating Instructions
The WDX-SOLSD100-U02 module operates automatically based on ambient light conditions and features a manual switch for power control.
Automatic Light Control:
- Daytime Operation: When the solar panel detects sufficient sunlight, the module will initiate charging of the connected 3.7V lithium battery. During this period, the LED lamp board will remain off.
- Nighttime Operation: As ambient light diminishes (e.g., at dusk or in darkness), the module will automatically switch on the connected LED lamp board, drawing power from the charged lithium battery.
- This cycle repeats automatically without requiring manual intervention.
Manual Power Switch:
The module includes a three-level switch (K1, visible on the back of the board) to control the lamp's output:
- Light Off: Disables the lamp.
- Full Power: Provides maximum illumination from the lamp.
- Low Power: Provides reduced illumination, extending battery life.
Press the button on the back of the board to cycle through these three power levels.
Video 5.1: Solar Charge Controller Auto Light Control Switch Board Demonstration
This video demonstrates the functionality of the solar charge controller, showing how it automatically turns on the LED light in the absence of light (simulated by covering the solar panel) and turns it off when light is present. It also shows the connection of a battery and an LED light board to the controller.
6. Maintenance
The QINIZX Solar Lamp Controller Module is designed for low maintenance. However, regular checks can ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Cleanliness: Keep the module and its connections free from dust, dirt, and moisture. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Connection Integrity: Periodically inspect all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion. Loose connections can lead to intermittent operation or damage.
- Environmental Protection: While the module is designed for outdoor applications, protecting it from extreme weather conditions (e.g., direct heavy rain, prolonged submersion) can extend its lifespan. Consider housing it in a weather-resistant enclosure if exposed.
- Battery Health: Ensure the 3.7V lithium battery used with the module is in good condition. A failing battery can affect the overall performance of the solar lamp system.
7. Troubleshooting
