3. Setup and Installation
The SURFOU wireless doorbell is designed for quick and easy installation. Follow these steps to set up your system:
3.1 Prepare the Push Button (Transmitter)
- Unplug the plastic sheet from the battery compartment of each push button. The button is powered by a 12V 23A battery, which is included.
- Choose your desired mounting location for the push button. Ensure it is easily accessible for visitors.
- Clean the surface where you intend to mount the button.
- Option 1: Adhesive Mounting
Peel off one side of the double-sided adhesive sticker and apply it to the back of the push button. Peel off the other side and firmly press the button onto the cleaned surface. Hold for a few seconds to ensure adhesion. - Option 2: Screw Mounting
Use the provided screws and mini screwdriver to secure the push button to the wall. Some models may require prying open the back cover to access screw holes.

3.2 Install the Receiver
Plug the receiver into any standard electrical outlet within your home. For optimal performance, choose a central location or an area where you want to ensure you hear the chime.

The system is designed to work right out of the box. The receiver has a memory function that retains your previously set tune even after being unplugged and reinserted.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Changing Ringtone and Volume
Your SURFOU wireless doorbell offers 55 classic ringtones and 5 adjustable volume levels (0-110dB), including a mute option. The receiver also features an LED indicator that flashes when the doorbell rings, which is beneficial for individuals with hearing impairments.

- To Select a Ringtone: Use the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons on the side of the receiver to cycle through the 55 available melodies.
- To Adjust Volume: Use the "Volume" button on the side of the receiver to adjust the sound level. There are 5 levels, from 0dB (mute) to 110dB.
- To Pair/Re-pair the Doorbell:
- Select your desired ringtone using the UP/DOWN buttons.
- Long press the volume button on the receiver for approximately 8 seconds until the receiver emits a "ding" sound and the LED flashes. This indicates it's in pairing mode.
- Quickly press the push button (transmitter) within 8 seconds. The receiver will emit two "ding" sounds and the LED will flash, confirming successful pairing.
- The learning mode automatically exits after 8 seconds if no button is pressed.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Replacement (Push Button)
The push button is powered by a 12V 23A battery, designed for extremely low power consumption and a service life of up to 3 years. When the battery needs replacement, follow these steps:

- Using the provided mini screwdriver, gently insert it at a 45-degree angle into the slot at the bottom of the transmitter and pry off the cover.
- Carefully remove the old 12V 23A battery.
- Insert a new 12V 23A battery, paying close attention to the correct polarity (negative contact spring).
- Replace the cover, ensuring it snaps securely into place.

5.2 Cleaning
Wipe the doorbell units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
