- Battery Insertion:
- For 26650 battery: Insert the provided 26650 Li-ion battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
- For 18650 battery: If using an 18650 Li-ion battery, first insert it into the provided battery sleeve, then insert the sleeve with the battery into the flashlight body, ensuring the positive (+) end faces towards the head.
- Securing the Tail Cap: Align the tail cap with the flashlight body and screw it clockwise, referring to the 'CLOSE' arrow mark, until it is fully tightened. Ensure the O-rings are properly seated to maintain waterproof integrity.

5. Operating Instructions
The XTAR D26 1600S features a user-friendly magnetic press switch for control.
5.1 Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the switch for 3 seconds to unlock the button. The indicator will flicker, and the flashlight will turn on in Turbo mode.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the switch for 2 seconds.
5.2 Mode Switching
Once the flashlight is on, press the switch repeatedly to cycle through the brightness modes in the following order: Turbo (1600lm) → High (650lm) → Mid (200lm) → Low (60lm) → Turbo...

5.3 Lock Function
