Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your Tchibo Cafissimo Milk Coffee Machine. Please read all instructions carefully before initial use and retain this manual for future reference. The Cafissimo Milk machine is designed to prepare a variety of coffee and milk specialities using Tchibo Cafissimo capsules.

Setup
1. Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove all packaging materials from the machine.
- Place the machine on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the machine.
- Keep the machine away from water sources and direct sunlight.
2. Initial Cleaning
- Wash the removable water tank, milk tank, and drip tray with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
3. Filling the Water Tank
- Remove the water tank from the back of the machine.
- Fill the water tank with fresh, cold drinking water up to the maximum fill line (Capacity: 1.2 liters).
- Place the water tank back securely onto the machine.
4. Power Connection
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (Voltage: 230 Volts AC).
- Press the power button to turn on the machine. The machine will begin to heat up.

Operating Instructions
1. Preparing Coffee
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Open the capsule compartment lever.
- Insert a Tchibo Cafissimo capsule into the compartment. Close the lever firmly.
- Place a cup on the drip tray. The cup shelf is removable to accommodate cups up to 13.5 cm in height.
- Select your desired coffee type (Espresso, Caffè Crema, or Coffee) by pressing the corresponding button. The machine will brew the coffee.
- Once brewing is complete, the used capsule will automatically drop into the capsule collection container (capacity: 6 capsules).
2. Preparing Milk Specialities
- Fill the removable milk tank (capacity: approx. 400 ml) with fresh, cold milk.
- Ensure the milk tank is securely attached to the machine.
- Insert a coffee capsule as described in step 3 above.
- Place a suitable cup under the coffee spout and milk frother.
- Press the button for your desired milk speciality (e.g., Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato). The machine will first froth the milk, then brew the coffee.

3. Automatic Shut-off
The machine features an energy-saving automatic switch-off function. If left inactive, the machine will turn off after approximately 9 minutes.
Maintenance
1. Daily Cleaning
- Empty and clean the drip tray and capsule collection container daily.
- The removable milk tank is easy to clean thanks to its integrated cleaning button. After each milk preparation, activate the cleaning function to flush the milk system.
- Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
2. Descaling
Regular descaling is crucial for maintaining machine performance and coffee quality. The frequency of descaling depends on water hardness and usage. Refer to the descaling indicator (if available) or descale every 2-3 months.
- Use a descaling solution specifically designed for coffee machines.
- Follow the instructions provided with the descaling solution.
- After descaling, rinse the machine thoroughly by running several cycles with fresh water.

Troubleshooting
