Setup

Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the radio's built-in 1000mAh rechargeable battery. Use the provided micro USB cable to connect the radio to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge provides up to 12 hours of playback time.

Connecting Earphones

The included stereo earphones serve as both audio output and the radio's antenna. Insert the earphone jack firmly into the 3.5mm earphone port on the radio. Ensure the earphones are properly connected for optimal signal reception in both DAB/DAB+ and FM modes.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

To power on the radio, slide the power switch located on the side of the device. To power off, slide the switch back to the off position.

Automatic Station Scan (First Use)

Upon first power-on, the radio will automatically perform a scan for available DAB/DAB+ stations. This process may take a few moments. Once complete, the radio will tune to the first available station.

To manually initiate a scan:

1. Press the SCAN button.
2. The radio will begin scanning for available stations and update its station list.

Switching Between DAB/DAB+ and FM Modes

Press the DAB/FM button to toggle between DAB/DAB+ digital radio mode and FM analog radio mode.

Tuning Stations

• In DAB/DAB+ mode, use the Up (^) and Down (v) arrow buttons to navigate through the list of available stations. Press SELECT to tune to the desired station.
• In FM mode, use the Up (^) and Down (v) arrow buttons to manually tune the frequency. Alternatively, press the SCAN button to automatically scan for the next available FM station.

Adjusting Volume

Use the VOL+ button to increase the volume and the VOL- button to decrease the volume.

Storing and Recalling Preset Stations

The radio allows you to store up to 10 DAB/DAB+ and 10 FM stations as presets for quick access.

To Store a Station:

1. Tune to the desired station you wish to store.
2. Press and hold the PRESETS button for approximately 2 seconds until "Preset Store" appears on the display.
3. Use the Up (^) and Down (v) arrow buttons to select the desired preset number (1-10).
4. Press the SELECT button to confirm and save the station to the chosen preset number. The display will indicate that the station has been stored.

To Recall a Stored Station:

1. Press the PRESETS button briefly (do not hold).
2. Use the Up (^) and Down (v) arrow buttons to scroll through the stored preset stations.
3. Press the SELECT button to tune to the desired preset station.

Locking Buttons

To prevent accidental button presses, especially during physical activity, you can lock the radio's controls. Slide the key icon button on the side of the radio downwards to activate the lock function. Slide it upwards to unlock.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the radio's surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
