2. Safety Instructions
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electric tools to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
- Work Area Safety: Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- Electrical Safety: Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions.
- Personal Safety: Always wear eye protection. Use hearing protection when operating the drill for extended periods. Dress properly; avoid loose clothing or jewelry. Secure long hair.
- Tool Use and Care: Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or remove the battery pack before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.

5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Battery
The battery pack is not fully charged upon purchase. It is recommended to fully charge the battery before first use.
- Connect the AC charger to a standard wall outlet.
- Slide the battery pack onto the charger until it clicks into place.
- Allow the battery to charge until the indicator light on the charger signals a full charge (refer to charger instructions for specific light indications).
- Once charged, disconnect the charger from the outlet and remove the battery pack.
Note: The battery pack may become warm during charging. This is normal. Do not charge in extreme temperatures.
5.2 Installing and Removing the Battery Pack
- To Install: Align the battery pack with the base of the drill handle and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.
- To Remove: Press the battery release button (if present, typically on the sides of the battery) and slide the battery pack out of the handle.
5.3 Installing and Removing Drill/Screwdriver Bits
- Ensure the drill is switched off and the forward/reverse selector is in the neutral (locked) position.
- Rotate the keyless chuck counter-clockwise to open the chuck jaws.
- Insert the desired drill bit or screwdriver bit into the chuck, ensuring it is centered.
- Rotate the keyless chuck clockwise to tighten the jaws firmly around the bit. Hand-tighten only.
- To Remove: Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise to loosen the jaws and pull the bit out.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Forward/Reverse Rotation
The forward/reverse selector switch is located above the trigger. Push it to the left for forward rotation (drilling/tightening screws) and to the right for reverse rotation (removing screws). Position it in the center to lock the trigger and prevent accidental starting.
6.2 Speed Control
The drill features variable speed control. The speed of rotation is controlled by the amount of pressure applied to the trigger switch. Pressing the trigger lightly results in lower speed, while pressing it fully results in maximum speed (up to 750 RPM).
6.3 Torque Adjustment
The torque adjustment ring allows you to select the appropriate torque setting for screwdriving applications. Lower settings are for smaller screws or softer materials, while higher settings are for larger screws or harder materials. The drill setting (often indicated by a drill bit icon) provides maximum torque for drilling.
6.4 Drilling
- Select the appropriate drill bit for the material and hole size.
- Set the torque adjustment ring to the drill icon for maximum power.
- Mark the drilling spot.
- Hold the drill firmly with both hands if possible.
- Start drilling at a low speed to prevent the bit from wandering, then increase speed as the bit engages the material.
- Apply steady, even pressure. Do not force the drill.
6.5 Screwdriving
- Select the correct screwdriver bit for the screw head.
- Set the torque adjustment ring to a suitable setting for the screw size and material. Start with a lower setting and increase if needed.
- Place the screwdriver bit into the screw head.
- Apply firm, steady pressure to prevent cam-out (the bit slipping from the screw head).
- Start at a low speed and increase as the screw drives in.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Keep the tool's ventilation slots clean to prevent overheating. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Battery Care: Store battery packs in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not store fully discharged batteries for extended periods. Recharge them periodically if not in use.
- Storage: When not in use, store the drill and accessories in their original case in a dry, secure location out of reach of children.
