Key Features:
- Premium Craftsmanship: 40mm stainless steel case with sapphire lens and anti-reflective coating.
- Precision Engineering: Powered by the Seiko NH35 automatic movement, offering reliable self-winding performance and a 41-hour power reserve. Features a three-hand display with date function.
- Water Resistance: Engineered for versatility with 150m (15 ATM) water resistance, suitable for various water activities. The screw-lock crown enhances durability.
- Comfortable Wear: Equipped with a 20mm stainless steel bracelet or leather strap, designed for a secure and comfortable fit.
Setup
Winding the Watch:
- Unscrew the crown by turning it counter-clockwise until it springs free. This is Position 0 (Normal Position).
- Gently wind the watch by turning the crown clockwise for approximately 30-40 rotations. This will initiate the movement and build up the power reserve.
- The watch is self-winding and will continue to power itself through wrist movement once worn.
Setting the Time and Date:
- Ensure the crown is in Position 0 (unscrewed).
- Pull the crown out to Position 1. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.
- Pull the crown out further to Position 2. The second hand will stop (hacking feature). Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands. To ensure accurate time setting, align the minute hand to the correct minute mark after the second hand reaches the 12 o'clock position.
- Once the time and date are set, push the crown back into Position 0 and screw it down tightly clockwise to ensure water resistance.

Operating the Watch
Wearing the Watch:
Ensure the watch is worn snugly but comfortably on your wrist. Consistent wear helps maintain the power reserve of the automatic movement through natural wrist motion.

Water Resistance (150m / 15 ATM):
Your Spinnaker Croft watch is water resistant to 150 meters (15 ATM). This rating makes it suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and recreational diving. Always ensure the crown is fully screwed down before any contact with water to prevent water ingress.
Unidirectional Rotating Bezel:
The bezel rotates in one direction (counter-clockwise) to prevent accidental extension of dive time. To use, align the bezel's zero marker with the minute hand at the start of your dive or timed event. The minute hand will then indicate the elapsed time against the bezel scale.

Maintenance
Cleaning:
- For the case and metal bracelet, use a soft, damp cloth to wipe away dirt and grime. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by rinsing with fresh water and thorough drying.
- For leather straps, avoid prolonged exposure to water and direct sunlight. Clean with a dry, soft cloth. Specialized leather cleaners can be used sparingly.
- After exposure to saltwater, rinse the watch thoroughly with fresh water and dry it completely.
General Care:
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures or sudden temperature changes.
- Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields, as these can affect the accuracy of the mechanical movement.
- Ensure the crown is always screwed down tightly when not adjusting the watch, especially before water exposure.
Service:
Automatic mechanical watches benefit from periodic servicing to maintain optimal performance. It is recommended to have your watch serviced by a qualified watchmaker every 3-5 years. This includes cleaning, lubrication, and checking the water resistance seals.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Watch stops or runs intermittently. | Insufficient power reserve. | Manually wind the watch by turning the crown clockwise 30-40 times. Wear the watch regularly to keep it wound. |
| Date changes at noon instead of midnight. | Time is set for PM instead of AM. | Advance the hour hand by 12 hours. |
| Watch runs too fast or too slow. | Exposure to magnetic fields or in need of regulation. | Demagnetize the watch or have it regulated by a professional watchmaker. |
