Setup

Before first use, wash all parts of the container with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Ensure all components are completely dry before assembly.

Pre-heating for Hot Food:

For optimal heat retention, pre-heat the container by pouring hot water into it for 5-10 minutes. Discard the water before filling with hot food.

Pre-cooling for Cold Food:

For optimal cold retention, pre-cool the container by placing it in the refrigerator for 5-15 minutes, or by filling it with cold water and ice for a few minutes. Discard the water/ice before filling with cold food.

Operating Instructions

Filling the Container:

Open the screw-up lid. Due to the wide mouth opening (2.95 inches), filling the container with various foods, such as soups, pasta, or salads, is easy. Fill to just below the rim to allow space for the lid.

Securing the Lid:

Place the inner lid onto the container and screw it on tightly to ensure a leak-proof seal. The lid is specifically designed for isolation and leak prevention.

Using the Air Pressure Release Button:

If the lid becomes difficult to open due to pressure buildup from hot contents, press the central button on the inner lid to release the air pressure. This will make unscrewing the lid easier.

Utilize the rubber belt handle on the top for easy and secure carrying.

Maintenance

Cleaning Instructions:

This product is Hand Wash Only. Do not place in a dishwasher. Wash all components with warm, soapy water immediately after each use. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

For the air pressure release button on the lid, avoid soaking the lid in water, as water may enter the mechanism and be difficult to drain. Wipe clean immediately after washing.

Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing to prevent odors or mildew.

Storage:

Store the container with the lid slightly ajar to allow for air circulation, preventing any lingering odors.

Troubleshooting

  • Food not staying hot/cold: Ensure the container was properly pre-heated or pre-cooled as per the Setup instructions. Make sure the lid is screwed on tightly to maintain the vacuum seal.
  • Lid difficult to open: Press the air pressure release button on the inner lid to equalize pressure before attempting to unscrew.
  • Water trapped in lid: Avoid soaking the lid during washing. If water is trapped, shake vigorously to dislodge, or allow to air dry completely over an extended period.
