4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your Prosonic BT3 speaker. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the speaker's USB-C port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The LED indicator will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. A full charge typically takes about 3 hours.

4.2 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power On/Off button for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED indicator lights up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power On/Off button for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED indicator turns off.
  • Auto Standby: If no Bluetooth connection is established for 15 minutes, the speaker will automatically power off to conserve battery.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and the LED indicator is flashing blue, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth settings.
  3. Search for available devices and select "Prosonic BT3" from the list.
  4. Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue, and you will hear a confirmation tone.

4.4 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To achieve a stereo surround sound experience, you can pair two Prosonic BT3 speakers together.

  1. Ensure both BT3 speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
  2. Press the TWS Pairing button on one of the speakers. You will hear a tone, and the LED indicator on this speaker will flash rapidly.
  3. The two speakers will automatically search for and pair with each other. Once paired, one speaker's LED will remain solid blue (right channel), and the other's LED will continue to flash (left channel), indicating TWS mode is active.
  4. Now, connect your Bluetooth device to the speaker with the flashing LED (left channel) as described in section 4.3.
  5. To disconnect TWS, press and hold the TWS button on either speaker for 5 seconds.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Audio Playback

  • Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button to start or pause music playback.
  • Next Track: Short press the Next Track / Volume Up button.
  • Previous Track: Short press the Previous Track / Volume Down button.
  • Volume Up: Long press the Next Track / Volume Up button.
  • Volume Down: Long press the Previous Track / Volume Down button.

5.2 Bass Boost

Press the Bass Boost button to activate or deactivate the enhanced bass mode. This feature provides a deeper and more intense bass response for your music.

5.3 Hands-Free Calling

When connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, the built-in microphone allows for hands-free calls.

  • Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause button once.
  • End Call: Press the Play/Pause button once during a call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button for 2 seconds.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Water Resistance: The speaker is IPX5 water resistant, meaning it can withstand splashes and light rain. Do not submerge the speaker in water. Ensure the port cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance.
  • Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, charge the speaker regularly, even if not in frequent use. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.

7. Troubleshooting

Cannot pair via Bluetooth.

Poor sound quality.
