Setup

  1. Hardware Connection:
    • Connect the power adapter to the scanner and then to a power outlet.

Operating Instructions

Loading Film/Slides:

Scanning Process with SilverFast:

  1. Launch the SilverFast SE Plus 8 software.
  2. Select the appropriate film type (negative or slide) and film profile within the software.

  4. iSRD (Infrared Smart Removal of Defects): The scanner features a built-in infrared channel to detect and remove dust and scratches. Enable this function in the SilverFast software for optimal results.
