Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene.
- Dishwasher Safe Parts: The blender bowl, steam basket, and lid are dishwasher safe.
- Hand Washing: For best results and to prolong product life, hand wash components with warm soapy water.
- Main Unit: Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water.
- Descaling the Water Reservoir: Over time, mineral deposits may accumulate in the water reservoir. Descale regularly (e.g., every 2-3 weeks depending on water hardness) by pouring a mixture of 1 part white vinegar and 1 part water into the reservoir. Let it sit overnight, then run 3 steam cycles with clean water to rinse.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues, please refer to the following common solutions:
- Appliance Not Turning On: Ensure the unit is properly plugged into a working outlet and that the blender bowl lid is securely closed and locked into place.
- Steaming Issues: Check if the water reservoir is filled to the appropriate level. Ensure the steam button is pressed correctly.
- Blending Issues: Ensure the lid is securely closed. Do not overfill the blender bowl. If food is too thick, add more cooking liquid.
- Mineral Deposits: Follow the descaling instructions in the Maintenance section.
