6. Basic Operation

6.1 Power On/Off

The unit will power on automatically when the vehicle's ignition is turned to the ACC or ON position. To turn off, turn off the vehicle's ignition.

6.2 Volume Adjustment

Use the physical volume buttons on the left side of the unit or the touchscreen controls to adjust the audio level.

6.3 Main Menu Navigation

Tap the home icon on the touchscreen to return to the main menu, which displays various functions such as Radio, Bluetooth, CarPlay/Android Auto, USB, AUX, and Settings.

7. Key Features Operation

7.1 Wired Apple CarPlay & Android Auto

Connect your iPhone or Android smartphone to the stereo's USB port using your phone's original USB cable. The system will automatically detect and launch CarPlay or Android Auto, allowing access to navigation, music, calls, and messages directly from the stereo's screen.

7.2 Mirror Link Function

Mirror Link allows you to display your smartphone's screen content directly onto the car stereo. Connect your phone via USB. Ensure your phone's display mode is set to "landscape" for full-screen viewing on the stereo. This feature supports Android 10.1 and below, and iOS 13.4 and below (iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 8 series and below).

7.3 Bluetooth Hands-Free Calling and Audio Streaming

Pair your smartphone with the car stereo via Bluetooth for hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming.

  1. Go to the Bluetooth menu on the stereo.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and search for available devices.
  3. Select "SANPTENT" (or similar device name) from the list on your phone and pair.
  4. Once paired, you can make/receive calls and play music wirelessly.

7.4 Backup Camera Function

When the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear, the stereo will automatically display the rear view from the connected backup camera. This assists in safe parking and maneuvering. The unit also supports a front camera input.
