Controls and Ports

Setup
Follow these steps to set up your ZEXMTE Portable CD Player.
Power Connection
- Connect the USB adapter to the DC IN port on the CD player.
- Plug the USB adapter into a standard wall outlet.
- The player will power on automatically when connected to power. To turn it off, pull the power cable gently. Pulling the cable again will turn it back on.
Mounting Options
The CD player offers two convenient mounting options: wall-mounted or desk stand.

Wall Mounting
- Choose a suitable location on a wall, ensuring it is near a power outlet.
- Use the provided wall-mounted plate as a template to mark the drilling points.
- Drill holes and insert the wall anchors.
- Secure the wall-mounted plate to the wall using the screws.
- Carefully slide the CD player onto the wall-mounted plate until it clicks into place.
Desk Stand Placement
- Attach the desk stand to the bottom of the CD player.
- Place the assembled unit on a flat, stable surface such as a desk, table, or nightstand.
Operation
This section details how to use the various functions of your CD player.
Remote Control
The included IR remote control allows for convenient operation from a distance. Ensure batteries are inserted correctly (not included).

CD Playback
- Gently open the dust cover.
- Insert a CD (CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, HDCD formats are supported) into the disc slot with the label side facing outwards.
- Close the dust cover. The player will automatically switch to CD mode and begin playback.
- Use the 'Previous' and 'Next' buttons on the player or remote to skip tracks.
- Use the 'VOL-' and 'VOL+' buttons to adjust the volume.
- The A-B Repeat function allows you to repeat a specific segment of a track. Press the 'A-B' button at the start point (A) and again at the end point (B) to set the loop. Press 'A-B' a third time to cancel.
- The player has a memory function and will resume playback from where it stopped when powered on again.
Bluetooth Mode
The player can connect to Bluetooth-enabled devices like smartphones or tablets to function as a Hi-Fi speaker.

- Press the 'Mode' button on the player or remote until 'BLUE' appears on the LCD display. The player is now in Bluetooth pairing mode.
- On your Bluetooth device, search for available devices and select 'ZEXMTE CD Player' (or similar name) to pair.
- Once connected, you can play audio from your device through the CD player's speakers.
- Note: This device is a Bluetooth receiver only and cannot connect to other Bluetooth speakers or headphones.
FM Radio
Tune into your favorite FM radio stations.

- Press the 'Mode' button until the FM frequency appears on the LCD display.
- Use the 'Previous' and 'Next' buttons to manually tune to desired frequencies.
- For automatic scanning, press and hold the 'Play/Pause' button (or a dedicated scan button if available on remote) to search for and save available stations.
USB/TF Card Playback
Play audio files directly from a USB flash drive or TF (MicroSD) card.
- Insert your USB flash drive into the USB port or your TF card into the TF card slot.
- Press the 'Mode' button until 'USB' or 'TF' appears on the LCD display.
- The player will automatically detect and begin playing compatible audio files.
- Use the 'Previous' and 'Next' buttons to navigate through tracks.
AUX Input
Connect external audio devices using the 3.5mm AUX cable.
- Connect one end of the 3.5mm AUX cable to the AUX port on the CD player.
- Connect the other end to the audio output jack of your external device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player).
- Press the 'Mode' button until 'LINE' or 'AUX' appears on the LCD display.
- Audio from your external device will now play through the CD player's speakers. Control playback from your external device.
Maintenance

- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the player. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Dust Cover: Always keep the dust cover closed when not inserting or removing a CD to protect the disc and internal components from dust accumulation.
- Disc Care: Handle CDs by their edges. Keep discs clean and free of scratches to ensure smooth playback.
- Storage: Store the player in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
