Charging Indicators

Refer to the LED indicator on the charger for status:

  • Solid Green LED: Batteries are charging.
  • No LED / Off: No batteries inserted, batteries incorrectly inserted, or charging complete and charger is in standby/maintenance mode.
  • Flashing LED: Indicates an error, such as non-rechargeable or damaged batteries, or incorrect battery type.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Disconnect the charger from the power source before cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the charger and batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging NiMH batteries before recharging. It is recommended to recharge them when they are partially depleted.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Charger LED does not light up.No power connection, batteries incorrectly inserted, or non-rechargeable/damaged batteries.Check USB power connection. Re-insert batteries with correct polarity. Ensure batteries are NiMH and not damaged.
Batteries not charging.Incorrect battery type, damaged batteries, or only one battery inserted (charger requires two for charging).Ensure batteries are NiMH. Replace damaged batteries. Insert two batteries for charging.
Charging takes longer than expected.Batteries have higher capacity, or power source provides lower current. This is normal for higher capacity batteries. Ensure USB power source provides sufficient current (e.g., 1A or higher).
