Controls and Ports

  • Power/Volume Knob: Turn to adjust volume, press to power on/off.

Setup

Powering On Your Radio

The NakiRadio Solo MN300 can be powered in two ways:

  1. Using the Power Adapter: Connect the Micro USB cable to the radio's Micro USB port and the other end to the 5V power adapter. Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
  2. Using Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the radio. Insert four (4) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.

Press the Power/Volume knob to turn on the radio.

Connecting to Wi-Fi

A stable Wi-Fi connection is required for the NakiRadio Solo to function.

  1. Upon first power-on, the radio will prompt you to set up the Wi-Fi connection.
  2. Use the Select knob to navigate through the available Wi-Fi networks.
  3. Press the Select knob to choose your network.
  4. Enter your Wi-Fi password using the on-screen keyboard and the Select knob for character selection. Press the Select knob to confirm each character and to finalize the password entry.
  5. Once connected, the radio will display a confirmation message.

Note: If you encounter issues connecting, ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz compatible, as some devices may not support 5GHz networks.

Operating Instructions

Navigating Channels

After connecting to Wi-Fi, the radio will typically load the available channel list.

  • Use the Select knob to scroll through the list of channels.
  • Press the Select knob to choose a channel and begin playback.
  • Use the Playback Control Buttons (Skip Forward/Backward) to navigate between channels within a category or playlist.
  • Press the MENU button to access different categories of channels or settings.
  • Press the BACK button to return to the previous menu or channel list.

Adjusting Volume

Turn the Power/Volume knob clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease it.

Using Presets

The radio allows you to save your favorite channels as presets for quick access.

  1. While listening to a channel you wish to save, press and hold the PRESETS button.
  2. Use the Select knob to choose an empty preset slot.
  3. Press the Select knob to confirm and save the channel.
  4. To access a saved preset, press the PRESETS button briefly, then use the Select knob to select your desired preset.

Alarm Clock Function

The NakiRadio Solo MN300 includes an alarm clock feature.

  1. Press the MENU button to access the main menu.
  2. Navigate to the 'Alarm' or 'Clock' settings using the Select knob.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to set the alarm time, alarm sound (e.g., a specific channel or tone), and recurrence.
  4. Ensure the alarm is activated once set.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean your NakiRadio Solo MN300, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the finish or internal components.

Battery Replacement

If using batteries, replace all four AA batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display or when the radio's performance diminishes. Always replace with new, high-quality AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
