3.1. Controls

  • Micro USB Charging Port: For charging the speaker.
  • 3.5mm AUX Input: For wired audio connection.

4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the provided Micro USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (DC5V/500mA, not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The LED indicator will illuminate during charging and turn off once fully charged.

4.2. Powering On/Off

  • To Power ON: Long press the Power button (⏻) until you hear an audible prompt.
  • To Power OFF: Long press the Power button (⏻) again until you hear an audible prompt.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered ON and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by a flashing LED). If not, short press the Power button (⏻) to cycle through modes until Bluetooth mode is active.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or other device.
  3. Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "pTron Quinto Evo" from the list.
  4. Once paired, the LED indicator will stop flashing, and you will hear a confirmation sound.

5.2. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Function

To pair two pTron Quinto Evo speakers for a stereo experience:

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered OFF.
  2. Power ON both speakers simultaneously. They will enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
  3. On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), long press the Play/Pause button (⏸) for 2-3 seconds. The speakers will attempt to connect to each other.
  4. Once successfully paired, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the LED on the primary speaker will flash, while the secondary speaker's LED will be solid.
  5. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 5.1. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.

5.3. Auxiliary (AUX) Input

Use the 3.5mm AUX cable to connect the speaker to any device with a 3.5mm audio output:

  1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm AUX cable to the speaker's AUX port.
  2. Connect the other end to your audio source (e.g., smartphone, laptop).
  3. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode, or you can short press the Power button (⏻) to select AUX mode.

5.4. Micro SD Card / USB Drive Playback

To play music directly from a Micro SD card or USB drive:

  1. Insert a Micro SD card or USB drive (with MP3 audio files) into the corresponding slot on the speaker.
  2. The speaker will automatically detect the storage device and begin playback, or you can short press the Power button (⏻) to select the appropriate mode.

5.5. Hands-free Calling

When connected via Bluetooth, the built-in microphone allows for hands-free calls:

  • Answer/End Call: Short press the Play/Pause button (⏸).
  • Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause button (⏸).

6. Maintenance

  • Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Avoid exposing the speaker to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
  • Keep the speaker away from water, although it is water splash resistant, it is not fully waterproof for submersion.
  • Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

7. Troubleshooting

Speaker does not power ON.Ensure the speaker is fully charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
Cannot pair via Bluetooth.Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode. Turn off and on Bluetooth on your device. Move the speaker closer to your device. Clear previous Bluetooth connections on your device.
No sound from speaker.Check volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the correct input mode (Bluetooth, AUX, SD, USB) is selected.
TWS pairing fails.Ensure both speakers are powered off before attempting TWS pairing. Follow the TWS pairing steps carefully.
Poor sound quality.Ensure the speaker is within the Bluetooth range (10 meters). Check for interference from other wireless devices. Try a different audio source or file.
