Setup Instructions
1. Initial Activation and Time Setting
Upon receiving your watch, a small plastic tab may be present under the crown to prevent battery drain. Gently remove this tab.
- Pull the crown (located on the right side of the watch case) out to position '2'.
- Rotate the crown to set the hour and minute hands to the desired local time. Observe the 24-hour sub-dial to distinguish between AM and PM.
- Once the time is set, push the crown back into position '1' to engage the movement.
2. Setting Dual Time Zones
The watch features two sub-dials for dual time zones, labeled 'ZONE 1' and 'ZONE 2'.
- The dual time zones are typically linked to the main time setting. Adjusting the main time will automatically update the dual time sub-dials.
- Consult the specific movement instructions for fine-tuning or independent adjustment of the dual time zones if applicable.
3. Date Adjustment
The date window is located at the 6 o'clock position.
- Pull the crown out to position '1' (halfway).
- Rotate the crown to adjust the date.
- Once the correct date is displayed, push the crown back into its original position.
Operating the Chronograph
The chronograph function allows for precise timing of events.
- Starting the Chronograph: Press the top pusher button (B) to start the chronograph. The large central second hand will begin to move, along with the minute sub-dial.
- Stopping the Chronograph: Press the top pusher button (B) again to stop the chronograph. The hands will hold their position, indicating the elapsed time.
- Resetting the Chronograph: After stopping, press the bottom pusher button (E) to reset the chronograph. All chronograph hands will return to their zero positions.
Maintenance and Care
General Care:
- Clean your watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or strong magnetic fields.
- The leather strap should be kept dry and cleaned with appropriate leather care products to maintain its condition.
Water Resistance:
This watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, but not for diving or prolonged water immersion. Do not operate the crown or pushers when the watch is wet or submerged.
Battery Replacement:
The watch uses 1 product-specific battery. When the watch stops or the second hand begins to jump erratically, it indicates a low battery. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure water resistance is maintained.
Troubleshooting
Chronograph Hands Not Resetting to Zero:
If the chronograph hands do not return to the 12 o'clock (zero) position after resetting, they may need calibration. This can occur after a battery change or impact.
- Pull the crown out to position '2'.
- Press and hold the top pusher button (B). The chronograph second hand will start to advance.
- Release the button when the chronograph second hand aligns perfectly with the 12 o'clock mark.
- If the minute sub-dial also needs adjustment, press the bottom pusher button (E) repeatedly until it aligns to zero.
- Once all chronograph hands are aligned, push the crown back into position '1'.
Watch Not Running:
- Check if the crown is fully pushed in.
- The battery may need replacement. Consult a professional watch technician.
