5. Setup

5.1. Charging the Battery

1. Connect the fast charger to a standard power outlet.
2. Slide the 2.0Ah Lithium-ion battery onto the charger until it clicks into place.
3. The charger indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes 1 to 2 hours.
4. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.

5.2. Installing/Removing the Battery

• To Install: Align the battery pack with the base of the drill handle and slide it in until it locks securely.
• To Remove: Press the battery release button (usually located on the side of the battery pack) and slide the battery out of the handle.

5.3. Installing/Removing Drill Bits

• To Install: Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise to open the jaws. Insert the drill bit or screwdriver bit into the chuck. Rotate the chuck clockwise to tighten the jaws securely around the bit. Ensure the bit is centered and firmly held.
• To Remove: Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise to loosen the jaws and pull the bit out.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Powering On/Off

The drill is activated by pressing the variable speed trigger. The tool will turn off when the trigger is released.

6.2. Adjusting Speed

The drill features a 2-speed transmission. Use the speed selector switch located on top of the drill to choose between:

• Low Speed (0-400 RPM): Ideal for driving screws and drilling larger holes in wood or soft materials.
• High Speed (0-1500 RPM): Suitable for faster drilling in various materials.

The variable speed trigger allows for fine control within the selected speed range.

• Apply steady, even pressure. Do not force the drill.
• For drilling, start with a pilot hole if necessary, especially in hard materials or near edges.
• For driving screws, select the appropriate torque setting to prevent damage to the screw head or workpiece.

Regularly clean the ventilation openings of the drill to prevent overheating. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the tool. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Keep the chuck free of dust and debris.

Store the drill and battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the battery is partially charged (not fully depleted or fully charged) for long-term storage. Keep out of reach of children.
