  4. Fill Water Tank: Remove the water tank from the main unit. Unscrew the cap and fill the tank with clean, distilled, or demineralized water up to the MAX fill line. Do not use tap water to prevent mineral buildup. Securely replace the cap and reinsert the tank into the main unit.
  5. Connect Steam Hose and Head: Attach the flexible steam hose to the steam outlet on the main unit. Then, connect the steam head to the other end of the hose. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent steam leakage.
  6. Position Steamer: Place the assembled steamer on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface, away from walls or furniture.

5. Operating Instructions

Once the steamer is set up, follow these steps to begin steaming:

  1. Plug In: Insert the power plug into a grounded electrical outlet (220V, 50Hz).
  2. Power On: Turn on the steamer using the power switch. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the unit is heating up.
  3. Wait for Steam: Allow approximately 45-60 seconds for the water to heat up and steam to be generated. Steam will begin to emit from the steam head.
  4. Prepare Garment: Hang the garment on the provided hanger. For best results, gently pull the fabric taut with one hand while steaming with the other. Wear the protective glove to shield your hand from steam.
  5. Begin Steaming: Hold the steam head a few inches away from the fabric. Move the steam head slowly over the garment, from top to bottom. For stubborn wrinkles, use the brush attachment to gently brush the fabric while steaming.
  6. Power Off: Once steaming is complete, turn off the power switch and unplug the steamer from the outlet.
  7. Cool Down: Allow the steamer to cool down completely before handling or storing.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your garment steamer.

6.1 After Each Use

  • Empty Water Tank: After the unit has cooled, remove the water tank and empty any remaining water. This prevents mineral buildup and bacterial growth.
  • Wipe Down: Wipe the exterior of the steamer unit and steam head with a soft, damp cloth.

The steamer features a self-cleaning function to remove mineral deposits from the internal components. Refer to the specific instructions in your product packaging for detailed steps on activating this function. Typically, this involves filling the tank with clean water and activating a dedicated self-clean button or mode.

6.3 Storage

Store the steamer in a cool, dry place. Ensure the water tank is empty and all components are dry before storage. You can disassemble the pole and hanger for more compact storage if desired.
