4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the side of the flash unit.
  2. Slide the battery compartment cover open.
  3. Insert the provided Godox VB26B Lithium Battery, ensuring the contacts align correctly.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover until it clicks securely into place.

4.2 Charging the Battery

Use the included charger and USB cable to charge the lithium battery. Connect the charger to a power source and insert the battery. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge provides approximately 480 full power flashes.

4.3 Mounting on Camera

  1. Ensure your camera is turned off.
  2. Slide the flash's hot shoe into your camera's hot shoe mount.
  3. Engage the quick-release lock lever to secure the flash firmly in place.
  4. To remove, disengage the quick-release lock and slide the flash off.

5. Operating

5.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button to turn the flash unit on or off. The LCD screen will illuminate upon power-on.

5.2 Mode Selection (TTL/Manual)

Utilize the dedicated quick switch on the side of the flash to toggle between TTL (Through-The-Lens) autoflash mode and Manual (M) flash mode. This allows for rapid adjustments during shooting.

5.3 Adjusting Modeling Light

The modeling light can be adjusted through 10 levels of brightness. Refer to the flash's display and controls to cycle through the brightness settings for pre-visualization of your lighting.

5.4 Zoomable Flash Head

The flash head can automatically or manually zoom to match the focal length of your lens, covering a range from 20mm to 200mm. This optimizes light distribution for your chosen lens.

5.5 Wireless Operation
