4.1. Mechanical Installation

Ensure the gate structure is sturdy and capable of supporting the motors. The motors are designed for swing gates with a maximum length of 2.5 meters per leaf and a maximum weight of 200 kg per leaf. Follow the provided diagram and measurements for precise mounting of the motors and brackets to the gate and pillars.

4.2. Electrical Connections

Connect the motors, photocells, and warning lamp to the control unit according to the wiring diagram in the video. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated. The control unit requires a stable power supply.

4.3. Programming the Control Unit and Remotes

Follow the steps outlined in the video to program the control unit and pair the remote controls. This involves setting parameters for gate opening/closing, auto-close timers, and obstacle detection sensitivity. The control unit supports connection of additional access control devices such as electromagnetic locks, access buttons, or keypads.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed and programmed, the gate automation kit can be operated using the remote controls. The system offers flexible operation modes:

  • Remote Control Operation: Press the designated button on the remote control to open or close the gate.
  • Automatic Closing: The system can be configured to automatically close the gates after a set period.
  • Simultaneous or Sequential Opening/Closing: Gates can open or close simultaneously or with a maximum difference of 10 seconds. It is also possible to open only one gate leaf.
  • Obstacle Detection: The system is equipped with photocells that detect obstacles during opening or closing, causing the gates to stop to prevent damage or injury.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleanliness: Keep the motors, photocells, and control unit free from dirt, debris, and moisture.
