  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and verify against the parts list (if provided with your product).
  2. Attach Gas Lift to Base: Insert the wider end of the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the metal base. Ensure it is seated firmly.
  3. Attach Footrest: Slide the footrest onto the gas lift cylinder, if it is a separate component. Ensure it is at the correct height and secured.
  4. Prepare Seat Assembly: Attach the mounting plate (if separate) to the underside of the seat using the provided screws. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
  5. Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Place the assembled seat onto the narrower end of the gas lift cylinder. The seat should fit securely onto the cylinder.
  6. Test Stability: Gently sit on the stool to ensure all components are properly engaged and stable.

5. Operating Instructions

Height Adjustment:

  • To raise the seat, lift the adjustment lever while standing up, allowing the gas lift to extend. Release the lever at the desired height.
  • To lower the seat, lift the adjustment lever while seated, applying your weight to the seat. Release the lever at the desired height.

Swivel Function:

  • The seat can rotate 360 degrees freely. Simply turn the seat in the desired direction.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and appearance of your bar stool.

  • Cleaning Fabric: For general cleaning, use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and loose particles. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild fabric cleaner according to its instructions, testing on an inconspicuous area first.
  • Cleaning Metal Parts: Wipe metal surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.
  • Regular Checks: Periodically inspect all screws and connections for tightness. Retighten as needed to maintain stability.
  • Floor Protection: The base includes floor protection to prevent scratches. Ensure these remain intact and replace if worn.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your bar stool, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Stool feels wobbly: Check all assembly screws and connections. Ensure they are fully tightened. Verify the stool is on a flat, even surface.
  • Height adjustment not working: Ensure the lever is fully engaged. If the gas lift is not responding, it may be faulty and require replacement.
  • Squeaking noises: Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to moving parts, such as the swivel mechanism or gas lift connections.
