3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
The safe requires 4 AA batteries (not included) for operation. Locate the battery compartment, usually on the inside of the door or a removable panel. Insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
3.2 Initial Access and Programming
Upon first use, open the safe using one of the override keys. Insert the key into the keyhole, turn it, and open the safe door. This will allow access to the interior for battery installation and programming.
3.3 Registering Fingerprints
- With the safe door open, locate the programming button (often inside the safe). Press it once.
- Place your finger firmly on the fingerprint sensor. The indicator light will flash.
- Lift and place your finger again, repeating this process several times from different angles until the safe confirms successful registration (e.g., a green light and beep).
- You can register up to 30 different fingerprints. Repeat the process for each desired fingerprint.
- Test the registered fingerprint with the door open before closing.

3.5 Mounting the Safe
The safe can be secured in two ways:
- Using Mounting Screws: For permanent installation, use the provided screws to fix the safe to a table, floor, or other sturdy surface. Pre-drilling pilot holes may be necessary.
- Using the Steel Security Cable: For portable security, loop the steel cable around a fixed object (e.g., car seat frame, furniture leg) and secure it to the safe's designated anchor point.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Replacement
When the battery power is low, the safe will typically indicate this with a warning light or sound. Replace all 4 AA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation. Use only new, high-quality alkaline batteries.
5.2 Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For the interior, use the provided gun cleaning cloth to keep surfaces free of dust and debris.
5.3 Moisture Control
Place the silica gel dehumidifier inside the safe to absorb moisture and prevent rust on stored items. Replace or reactivate the dehumidifier as needed according to its instructions.
