Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of your Globe Electric 60024 3-Light Plug-in Track Lighting fixture. Please read thoroughly before use and retain for future reference.

Safety Information

• Ensure power is off at the main circuit breaker before installation, maintenance, or bulb replacement.
• Use only GU10 base bulbs, with a maximum wattage of 50W per light head.
• This fixture is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose to moisture or outdoor elements.
• Do not modify the fixture or its components. Any modifications may void the warranty and create a safety hazard.
• Keep flammable materials away from the light bulbs when in operation.

Setup and Installation

Step 1: Prepare for Installation

Unpack all components and ensure all parts are present. Turn off power at the main circuit breaker before beginning installation to prevent electrical shock.

Step 2: Mount the Fixture

The fixture can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. Use the provided mounting hardware (screws and anchors) to secure the metal mounting plate to your desired surface. Ensure the mounting surface can support the weight of the fixture. Once the mounting plate is secure, attach the track bar to the plate using the designated screws.

Step 3: Install GU10 Bulbs

This fixture requires three GU10/Bi-Pin Base MR16 bulbs (50W max each), which are sold separately. To install each bulb, align the two pins on the bulb with the two corresponding slots in the socket. Gently push the bulb into the socket and twist clockwise until it is securely seated. Do not overtighten.

Step 4: Adjust Light Heads

The three light heads are adjustable. You can pivot and rotate each head to direct light as needed for task, accent, or ambient lighting in your space.

Operating Instructions

Once the fixture is securely mounted and bulbs are installed, plug the 15-foot power cord into a standard 120V wall outlet. Use the in-line rocker switch, located on the power cord, to turn the light fixture ON or OFF.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Always disconnect power to the fixture before cleaning. Wipe the fixture with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes as they may damage the finish.

Bulb Replacement

Ensure the fixture is unplugged and bulbs have cooled completely before attempting to replace them. Follow the bulb installation steps outlined in the "Setup and Installation" section to replace old bulbs with new GU10 bulbs (max 50W).

Troubleshooting

Light does not turn on:

• Check if the fixture is properly plugged into a working 120V outlet.
• Ensure the in-line switch on the cord is in the "ON" position.
• Verify that the GU10 bulbs are correctly installed and not burnt out. Replace if necessary.
• Check the circuit breaker for the outlet to ensure power is supplied.

Flickering lights:

• Ensure bulbs are securely seated in their sockets. Remove and re-install if necessary.
• Confirm that the bulbs used are compatible GU10 base bulbs and do not exceed the maximum 50W rating.
• If using LED bulbs, ensure they are of good quality and compatible with the fixture's electrical system.
