Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

• Read all instructions before using this heater.
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
• Always unplug heater when not in use.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard heater, or return to authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.

• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
• To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
• This heater includes an Overheat Protection feature that automatically shuts off the unit if it overheats.
• The Tip-Over Protection feature automatically turns off the heater if it is accidentally tipped over.
• Constructed with V0 flame-retardant material for enhanced safety.
• Features an Enhanced Safety Plug for reliable power connection.

Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Dreo Space Heater:

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heater and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or if return is necessary.
2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) of clear space around the heater from walls, furniture, and other objects to allow for proper airflow and prevent fire hazards. This heater is designed for indoor use only.
3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord directly into a 120V AC, 60Hz wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips. Ensure the outlet is not overloaded with other appliances.
4. Remote Control Battery: The remote control comes with a pre-installed CR2025 battery. If needed, remove the plastic tab to activate it or replace the battery following the instructions in the remote control section.

Operating Instructions

Your Dreo Space Heater can be operated using the control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

Basic Functions

• Power On/Off: Press the power button (U) on the control panel or remote to turn the heater on or off.
• Mode Selection: Press the Mode button (M) to cycle through the available heating modes: High (1500W), Medium (900W), Low (700W), and ECO Mode.
• Temperature Adjustment: In High, Medium, or Low mode, use the '+' and '-' buttons to set your desired temperature between 41°F and 95°F (5°C and 35°C) in 1°F increments. The heater will maintain the set temperature.

Advanced Functions

• Oscillation: Press the Oscillation button (~) to activate or deactivate the 70° wide-angle oscillation feature, distributing heat evenly across the room.

• Timer: Press the Timer button (T) to set an auto-off timer from 1 to 12 hours. Each press increases the timer by one hour. The display will show the remaining time.

• ECO Mode: In ECO mode, the heater automatically adjusts its power output (700W, 900W, or 1500W) to maintain the set temperature, optimizing energy consumption.

The remote control provides convenient access to all heater functions from a distance. Ensure the remote is pointed towards the heater's display for optimal response.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater.

1. Cleaning: Always unplug the heater before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no water enters the interior of the heater.
2. Dust Removal: Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust from the air intake and exhaust grilles.
3. Storage: If storing the heater for an extended period, unplug it and allow it to cool completely. Store it in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging, to protect it from dust and damage.
