4. Setup

  1. Download the TUYA App: Download the free "TUYA" app from the Android Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  2. Power On: Connect the camera to a power source using the provided adapter. Wait for the camera to power on and indicate readiness for pairing (e.g., a prompt sound or flashing light).
  3. Add Device: Open the TUYA app, log in or create an account. Select "Add Device" and choose "Smart Camera (Wi-Fi)".
  4. Connect to 2.4G WiFi: Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4G WiFi network. This camera does not support 5G WiFi. Enter your WiFi password in the app.
  5. Scan QR Code: The app will display a QR code. Hold your smartphone approximately 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) in front of the camera lens for the camera to scan the QR code. You should hear a confirmation sound from the camera once the scan is successful.

  6. Completion: Once connected, the camera will appear in your TUYA app. You can then name the camera and begin using it.
  7. Optional: SD Card Installation: If desired, insert a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the designated slot for local storage.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Pan and Tilt Control

Use the directional controls within the TUYA app to remotely adjust the camera's viewing angle. The camera supports 350° horizontal pan and 90° vertical tilt, allowing you to cover a wide area.

5.2 Smart Motion Tracking and Alerts

The camera features intelligent motion tracking. When motion is detected, the camera can automatically track the movement of people or animals within its monitoring range. You will receive instant alerts on your smartphone, and the event will be recorded.

5.3 Two-Way Audio

  • Restart your router and the camera, then try connecting again.
  • Ensure the QR code is scanned correctly by the camera lens (hold 15-20 cm away).
Poor video quality or blurry image:
  • Clean the camera lens carefully with a soft cloth.
  • Check your internet connection speed. A stable and fast connection is required for optimal streaming.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions in front of the lens.
Motion detection not working or false alarms:
  • Adjust the motion detection sensitivity settings in the TUYA app.
  • Ensure the detection area is properly configured to avoid triggering by irrelevant movements (e.g., trees swaying).
  • Remove any spider webs near the camera, as they can trigger false alarms.
Two-way audio issues:
