3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the camera using the provided USB charging cable. Connect the cable to the Micro-USB port on the camera and a standard 5V/1.5A USB power adapter (not included). The indicator light will show charging status.

3.2 App Download and Account Creation

Download the "Vicohome" application from your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS). Once installed, open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and log in.

3.3 Camera Pairing

  1. Ensure your camera is fully charged and powered on.
  2. In the Vicohome app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
  3. Select your camera model from the list.
  4. Follow the app's instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. You may need to scan a QR code displayed on your phone with the camera's lens.
  5. Once connected, name your camera and complete the setup process.

3.4 Mounting the Camera

The camera comes with a mounting bracket and screws for easy installation. Choose a suitable location that provides the desired viewing angle and strong Wi-Fi signal. For outdoor installation, ensure the location offers protection from direct impact and allows for optimal solar panel charging if applicable.

4. Operation

4.1 Live View and Two-Way Audio

Open the Vicohome app and select your camera to access the live view. From here, you can monitor your property in real-time. Use the microphone and speaker icons within the app to enable two-way audio communication with anyone near the camera.

4.2 Motion Detection and Alerts

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Management

The camera is powered by a 5200 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Battery life can vary based on usage (e.g., frequency of motion detection, live view access). To maximize battery life, consider purchasing a compatible solar panel (not included) for continuous charging. Regularly check the battery level in the Vicohome app and recharge as needed.

5.2 Weather Resistance

5.3 Cleaning
